Model Y Juniper rear triangle trim loose after winter ice — clip issue? Replaceable?

Hi everyone, I have a 2026 Model Y Juniper, and the small triangular exterior trim piece at the rear of the front door window (see photo) has come loose. This happened after a stretch of heavy winter ice here in Canada. The door was iced up, and I suspect when I opened it, the ice was bonding the door frame to that trim piece and it pulled slightly out of place. Right now: • It’s still sitting in position • If I press/poke it, it feels loose • It hasn’t completely fallen off Before I do anything like crazy glue or epoxy (which I really don’t want to do), I’d like to understand: 1. Is this piece held on by clips or adhesive? 2. Is it meant to be replaceable? 3. Has anyone fixed this without replacing the whole trim? 4. Is this something a mobile service appointment can handle easily? I don’t want to remove it blindly and make things worse. Appreciate any advice from people who’ve dealt with this before.

It's part of the glass assembly and held on with VHB tape.

Mine came off completely, brought it into service center and they replaced the entire assembly for free under warranty. Try to explain exactly which piece is loose, as they needed to take some time to order the replacement part before fixing mine.

Mine just fell off also after cold weather. The top most piece clips in behind the top trim piece and the rest is double sided tape. Mobile service came out and used automotive superglue on the places where double side tape failed to place it back on. He didn’t put it on straight and now I have a slightly uneven piece of trim. Drives me crazy. I would suggest you just buy some automotive super glue yourself and reattach it.
