Are you supposed to have the cabin light on?

GIJOW 2026-02-28 02:58

I don’t think so. But did it for testing purpose ;-)

I never turn them on for FSD and hands free works fine at night. What does the video feed look like when you pull up?

I just had my interior camera changed under warranty due to this. The camera was crap quality and then the infrared crapped out. Now it’s super clear. A bit tooo clear 😒

Had my car for 18months and always at night it just dint work at night very well. Constant nagging every 25 seconds. Finally called and turns out the cabin cover for the camera was solid and the cameras couldn’t see through it. It’s supposed to be a see through blue(at least when held up to the sun). Tech came out 3 separate times after two camera swaps to finally find out it was just the cover was wrong. Pretty crazy but works great now.

What year? There may be a bulletin for your vehicle to replace the interior camera cover.

January 2024 acquisition

Turn the screen brightness up a little

I had the same issue 2 releases ago. You will need to set up an appointment to check your infrared and software. The last release somehow fixed the issue on mine.

Same same - the cover wasn’t allowing the infrared leds to shine through - took them a while to Figure out .

Mine was late Dec 2023 and I had this problem. Took 2 visits for them to figure it out but they replaced the interior camera unit.
