Inventory Discounts?

djfogs | 2026-02-27 04:18 | 0 views

Bought a model Y in 2024 and got a $4900 inventory discount. Thinking of buying one for my wife and just checked the inventory and the largest discount was $1,120. Does anyone have any recent info or data on inventory discounts? Has anyone seen a $5k discount recently?

When I was looking, all the inventory ones were regular price, no discounts. The demos had very small discounts.

Wait until the second half of March.

What happens then?

To boost sales at end of quarter means more discounts

usually automotive sales slump. (but not always 100%) majority of people purchase new cars in the second half/end of the year for the best deals (june-dec). so to keep quarterly sales at a healthy state to sustain cash flow, they pump with discounts/incentives.

The big inventory discounts were offered before the refreshed vehicles came out.

Yeah, the best ever discount was in 2025, on the new 2025’s non refreshed ( non Jupiter) it was like $7k off Performance and then I tapped in the EV credit of $7500… happy purchase

Sounds like you got a similar deal to me. Do they even do discounts any more?

I haven't seen any recently. I got $4300 on my 2024 Performance new. It'll take another refresh for anything that big.
