1 spot not locking with walk away

I've had walk away locking enabled for the past 3 years, but for some reason it doesn't lock at my son's school. It's not in my "favorites." I do have don't lock at home enabled but we're like a mile away. What am I missing?

Probably is able to maintain a strong enough Bluetooth signal in that area. Even more of a reason to get used to pressing the lock button after you open your door and enable PIN to drive in areas that are suss. Relying on walk away lock is one way thiefs get in your car. They hang around and just when you start walking and don't care to turn anymore they'll open the door.

Are there multiple profiles on your car? Is the location on another profile?

My wife, but she literally has only driven the car like 3 times so doubtful? I'll check though, good idea.

Cell reception isn't great in that spot, could that have something to do with it? Make Bluetooth more prominent to the car or something? Ya I do pin to drive and pin on glovebox. Plus it's just filled with kids stuff and trash so they can have at it.

This happens when I park at the store near my house but that’s 0.2 miles away straight line and it doesn’t happen when I’m across the street maybe 100 yards further away. If the school is really a mile away that’s way farther than I’ve seen this happen in my car.

As the crow flies it would be quite a bit shorter. I parked in a slightly different spot and it did lock, so I'm going to experiment.
