Screen to go dark mode based on ambient sensor. How?

Front facing camera. Setting under display to switch between day and night, also for auto and screen brightness.

Uhm... yeah, but auto only reacts to time of day as I wrote in my post it does not seem to take into account neither ambiet sensor nor front facing camera. My screen stays bright when entering tunnels or underground parkings.

The car uses the front facing camera as the ambient light sensor. It is used for the headlights as well as the display brightness. My car turns on the full headlights when I enter my garage or any underground/dark area. The screen begins to dim shortly after. Make sure everything is set to auto for headlights as well as the screen brightness. Book a service appointment if you believe it is not working as intended.

There is no ambient light sensor. It is the front facing camera. It switches between light and dark mode when it decides to. It is working as intended, you just don’t like the way it works. If you want to do it manually, then use the toggle. Otherwise you’re at the mercy of when the computer wants to switch it. Or put in a service request if you believe it is working incorrectly.

There is a groundhog in one of the vent holes. Tease it out with some food in the shade and the screen will go dark.

You mean to tell me your screen goes dark mode when you enter tunnels?
