One of the reasons why I went with the 3. Less heavy, less tire wear.
My driving style causes my Y to eat tires like snacks. Yum yum yum!
I just changed my M3 21 tires last month, 43k miles.
Great car if you don't have kids
Good point. Either way the 3 and Y are both amazing vehicles.
Yep, owned both, each have their strengths and weaknesses
Looks like you're having fun!! What app is that screenshot from? Is that the native Tesla app? I'm asking because I haven't received mine yet but I'm a bit OCD about those numbers and want to make sure I know where to find them. My appointment changed and I'm getting it Friday instead of Saturday.

I mostly use chill mode and FSD in my Y. Hope to get decent miles out of my tires. My 3 had 92k miles and was on it's thrid set. I drove that car much more aggressive than I do my Y.
Perfect, thanks!

Or dogs...or don't need to haul PA systems and musical instruments......
3.96 miles per kwh. That's really quite great! What is the primary type of driving you do?
Insane mode, combo of city/highway driving. Been nice in the Florida winter cracking the windows so no HVAC!
252 watts/mile over 5000 miles in a MYP? You have outstanding discipline! At that rate your tires will last many mile though fewer months. Have fun!
I am at 340 watts/mile over 1400 miles in the NE...im enjoying the giddyup.
No one regrets buying the MYP it’s always the ones that should’ve gotten it instead.
Definitely Feel you on this one 🤣 the quick response is too good not to rip it!! Enjoy the Car 🔥🔥
I use chill mode looks like tire will go 25k. I've seen people claim 45k My hunch is very hot places like Arizona wear Tesla tires faster
Live in AZ had a 22 Model Y with 46K miles on my tires and tread depth was still 3”. 20 inch rims
You re damn right. Those tires are gonna last much more than a year.
I live in Las Vegas, I'm glad to hear we can get decent miles in our heat if we drive conservative. My new Y came with Pereli tires. I like the look. I just hope their quality is what I remember that brand being many years ago.
I’ve never run down my tires as fast as people say. Now this is my first Y coming from a model 3. But on my 3, I’d get 40k on a set of tires and often have enough tread left to make you question if you could push it a little further. But I have to deal with winters and never chance having tires with low tread on snow or ice.
I was going to say that’s awesome efficiency and saintly driving!
Indeed my MYLR is about same after 9.5k miles. I thought I was doing well.👍🏻
I have my Juniper since October last year, and I have also already 15k 😱😱
I have a MY 21. 4 or 5 sets, 100k miles
Try michelin defender 2. I has replaced 2 sets of tires and I barely got 10k miles out of both. The third set is michelin defender 2, I am already at 15k miles on it and they still have 50% tread left. Great tires.
I was about 228 wh/mi lifetime in my model 3 SR+ so definitely happy with the efficiency so far on this. Every day is an exercise in restraint ☺️
aftermarket wheels with a square setup. Your wallet will be a little better if you can get a more common wheel size
This goes for an odd debate. Basically purchasing a performance just to have the power but never using it. I love cars and speed but I would never get a performance because I know id complain about my range and getting tires so often lol. Im happy with my LR
A los 13.000millas cambie las traseras de mi MYP
I did lol
Just about the same August and I’m at 10500
