Tesla Bike rack worth it?

We have two E-Bikes, both weigh approx 50 lbs. I'm wondering if the Model X/Y Platform Hitch Rack is worth the money, or if I should find a 3rd party one instead. $850 seems quite expensive for a bike rack, although the quality and everything about it looks really solid. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this!

FYI - this would be the - should I buy from a fully 100% made in the USA (Tesla), or china question. With made in the USA using higher grade metal.

We take 3 bikes to the beach. There are 4 bikes we choose from. 3 folding, one normal. None are super expensive. All fit in the 3 and Y as long as one of the back seats is lowered. We use a combo of cardboard from delevery boxes and large plastic container lids to help avoid gashes on plastics and keep most of the sand out.
