Excessive tire wear after repair or normal for Tesla?
[All tread wear measurements are taken from Outside to Inside, mileage in Nov\/Dec was estimated with charging information, Summer tires were mounted between those dates so I used the November number. \*when received 3 of the tires were setup for CW rotation \(for right side of the car\), one of these was mounted on the Left Rear \(LR\), I had the Right Rear \(RR\) tire remounted in the opposite orientation on 10Dec when I had a puncture repaired and mounted this tire on the RL at that time. ](https://preview.redd.it/t3ag997wn4lg1.png?width=590&format=png&auto=webp&s=397f2b055931b60bcddf64909ca29423c43527a3) 2022 Tesla w/ repaired rear subframe came with a 6month / 6000mile warranty. I estimate that tread is wearing from the inside of the rears at 1/32 per 1200 miles. The dealer says "Typically tires on performance wheels will last 20k miles tops", my estimate looks like I'm seeing twice that rate. The dealer says the car had a 4 wheel alignment before I took possession, 20k mile life on performance tires (Continental Viking Contact 275/35R21) is common and that this is normal wear and not eligible for warranty service. Also, worth noting that the handling was very poor on slippery roads, it felt like the car was being blown sideways by wind gusts when traveling at highway speeds. I suspect that this all due to an alignment issue, general alignment I can handle but frame issues that will haunt me for the life of this car are concerning me. What should I do to make sure the car is operating normally before my warranty expires?
