We barely get any new features anymore. The last holiday update was basically nothing for Intel. I'd assume it is just not happening and what we have now is all we will get.

No. Intel was phased out in late 2021, so approaching 5 years now after first having appeared in 2017 in the Model 3/Y series with the first 3's. It's an almost 10 year old chip in their cars, so it's been a decent run.

Not without a complete rewire. When they switched to AMD, they changed wiring harnesses, switched from 12V to 16V architecture, and more.

Exactly, it's only a software and it currently runs on all on PC/MAC platforms regardless of CPU chip.
