Are prices on tesla used inventory negotiable?
Like other dealers, has anyone been able to negotiate prices on used tesla cars that are available on site at Tesla dealerships? FYI -- I'm planning to buy Used Model Y

No, they will keep on lowering the price if it will not sell..
No. Most consider this a good thing. When you go to a Tesla dealership there’s no desperate salesman that make commission or haggling.
Nope. They get top dollar and give you bottom dollar when you trade a Tesla in.
They were pretty fair with my trade in when I bought my used MY from them.
I recently replaced a Model Y and got a trade in quote from them and it was $2500 less than Carvana offered.

Carvana
I got a fair value when I traded my S for a Y plus was able to transfer FSD
Nope you can do that at 3rd parties when buying used Tesla's
Personally i prefer this.
This. I was following a 23MY AWD HW4 last year. It started at $31k, dropped a hundred or two most nights. Then after a week or so, it went up $200 one night. Then it dropped $400 the Sunday night & I swooped at $29k. (Plus $500 delivery). Cane with a free nest from Kissimmee. lol.
I generally like the idea of set pricing but I’m not willing to pay significantly above market to get it.
A free nest?
Windshield wiper fluid didn’t work. Discovered nest when I went to check wiring/plumbing in the front. They ended up putting in a new harness under warranty as was likely damaged in their storage.
You pay for peace of mind. That’s why I just went with new since financing a used tesla is like 7% while a new one is 1%.
Is the $500 delivery to deliver at your house? So it’s free if you pick it up?
I think you get a warranty extension as well.
no
Don’t buy from Tesla - they are overpriced on the Tesla website and they give less for trade in. They do not do anything special or worth paying thousands more. They don’t negotiate because they do not care about selling the car or not. People will point to the Tesla inspection but it’s no better than Carvana or one of the other options that also do a full inspection. I bought a used MY from the Tesla website and regret it. I should’ve gone with Carvana or a dealership. I love the car but the experience was awful. Tesla has just as many hidden fees as everyone else too. One month of FSD is $99.99 it’s not worth paying on average $3k more for a Tesla from the Tesla website. The delivery also takes significantly longer through Tesla vs Carvana or a traditional method where the car is already at the dealership. Plus you get a test drive at a dealer.
Facts. I love my Tesla but I’ll never buy from the Tesla website again.
You get a 1 Year or 10k mile warranty - it’s not worth spending thousands more.
Isn't that how every used car transaction works?
No, Carvana gave me $2500 more even without me buying another car from them. And with a typical car transaction it's your job to negotiate trade in and purchase price of a new vehicle.
So sell it back to them for profit.
Unfortunately- no, that’s the charge to ship it to their closest dealership to You. I’m in the Southwest, and East Coast “finds” can add about $2k to deliver to My closest dealership😑
There was no profit lol. I did sell it to Carvana. 2023 MYLR Blue with 31k miles only got $28k from Carvana. I miss the days when Teslas held their value.
$500 from Kissimmee to Atlanta. I was ok with that.
