24 MYLR Passanger Side Rear Lower Trim

Complex_Ad_6458 | 2026-02-19 01:35 | 11 views

I was washing my car and noticed some of the plastic on the edge of the lower plastic side skirt flaking almost like it was scraped. I did not hit anything. Could this be a defect? I did get ice caked on there in the recent cold l, but I don't think that could cause it.

That def looks like a minor scrape at one point that is now flaking off. I really doubt just cold ice could cause that tbh

I’d say it’s plastic trim and not to worry about it. While you didn’t hit anything, this could easily be hit by some debris without you noticing. It’s plastic for a reason and is meant to take small damage like this.

Not a defect.

That’s clearly a light scrape or abrasion. It’s the lowest part of the car besides wheels so it’s most likely to be scraped. Also, that’s wheel well.

I have never curbed a rim I swear to this day, but i did in my old civic I guess and never even noticed. I did take it in for a oil change recently at the time so who knows 🙃
