Did anyone test drive the new 2026 standard AWD yet?

They seem to have arrived at most tesla showrooms. If you did, is it exactly the same as the RWD version except for dual motors? Is it as fast as they say, same as premium AWD? Update: I test drove the AWD (Std) and was pretty impressed by it. It felt as quick as the premium. The lack of a center console actually opened up space. I was told the motors are identical to the ones on a premium. Love how easily the frunk closes now. Seats are less comfy and suspension is as good as legacy model y but not as good as premium. The sound insulation is pretty good and the music was surprisingly good. Sales have no idea if this model will support acceleration boost, also this has a smaller battery pack. If I remember correctly even 2023 Std AWD never supported boost. This will be a strong contender when comparing it with a pre-owned 2024 or 2023 MYLR AWD especially with a 0% promo currently being offered.

Yep. Nothing different at least in my experience. The acceleration was definitely noticeable. But it still accelerated fast, just not as fast as premium. I could be wrong though.

Model Y AWD (Standard) has the same 0-60mph time and top speed as the Premium AWD though so should feel the same? I have a Legacy 2024 Y LR AWD + a New 2026 Y LR AWD (Premium) and I do notice that my 2026 Y's very initial pickup feels way quicker than the Legacy Y so wonder if that's the difference or something. But IIRC, my 2026 Y's 0-60 time is like 0.1-0.2s faster than the Legacy Y.

If OP is buying then it's best that you go for a demo drive.

I still can’t find any reviews in any of the car mags or YouTube. I’m pretty interested in this model manly because I think it looks so much nice than the premium.
