Find a shop that does paintless dent repair (pdr)

This is going to be tough because it's right on the frame. I am no expert though, hopefully PDR can work.

I had PDR done on a body seam on a BMW with 35 y/o paint and it came out flawless. It really depends on who you get. At least make sure they’ve worked on Teslas before.

I had a palm sized imprint on an old car right on the windshield pillar, about the same area. A paintless dent repair tech was able to take it out 100%. I don’t know what kind of magic he performed but it was completely gone.

This is a difficult repair because it is on the windshield pillar and it is on a body line. You may want to talk to a few PDR places to see what they think.

They can just remove the interior plastic pillar and fix it from there

But the paint is damaged...?

Will that work with the paint being damaged?

Well, PDR won’t fix the paint damage. There is always the chance more paint will be damaged during the PDR.

They can touch it up

I have a similar dent on the same place, but also got a windshield crack at the same time.
