Phone losing power when connected to USBc port in 2026 M-Y Prem?

So I don't use the wireless charger as it's kinda crap and only overheats my phone so I turned it off. However the power coming from the USB-c port when connected to my phone seems paltry. For instance I plugged my phone into it via a connecting cord and my phone was at 61% when I plugged it in and I saw that it connected as the charging indicator on the phone turned green but after about 3 mins of being connected the % went DOWN to 60%! What kind of backwards shit is that? Anyone has any idea?
