Battery Health for 4K kms

I have a new 2025 Model Y with 4K kilometers. Just checked battery health with Tessie app. It shows % 93.46. Is this normal or should I check with service?

As long as it’s above 70% you have nothing to worry about

Degradation can happen more with age, not always miles/cycles.

You only have 1 data point which means absolutely nothing. Tessie can fluctuate a lot on individual readings, I’ve see it jump 5% from one reading to the next. You need several data points for anything remotely accurate

What’s your charging habits?

It’s normal.

Degradation happens quickly when batteries are new and then will tapper off after ~50k miles. The difference in degradation between 50k miles and 200k miles will be next to nothing.

Mostly DC, occasionally AC

Do not trust Tessie battery health tool. It's only somewhG accurate when fully charged. It will the degradation % will bounce all over the place.

I'm at 90% after 90k km and I mostly drive full speed Autobahn

At only 4,000 km, your Model Y is still breaking in. According to our data, Tesla Model Ys typically retain 95%+ battery health even after 50,000+ miles, so you're well within the normal range for a nearly-new vehicle.
