Tesla Model Y charging - Philadelphia airport

Tourist-Soggy | 2026-02-15 23:32 | 11 views

I have to fly out of Philadelphia for 10 days. I am afraid if I leave my Tesla Y at apartment (unplugged) battery will die. Is there a cheap parking option near airport where I can park my car, plug my vehicle and then fly out and back in? TIA

10 days is no biggie. Leave at 50%-80%. Don’t have Sentry on, car will be fine.

Honestly, if you leave sentry off, you'll barely lose any charge. I work 7 days on 7 off and on my off days sometimes I'll never drive and I'll lose 1-2% day max, if that.

I have only owned it for 1 week. I was losing more. Is it because it was brutally cold last week?

Use low power mode. Read manual.

You can leave it at like 50 or 60% and just turn off sentry preconditioning should be fine.it would only drain like 1% a day max no worries.

10 days, just enable low power mode, and you’ll be fine

There’s a bunch of sketchy places for about 10 dollars a day lol I wouldn’t risk it because you have to give them your car keys. You should be fine on low power mode to leave it
