That's a significant segment change. From your other comment, 10% less than you bought it for seems like a great price for any car after 6 month depreciation from brand new.... Beyond that, have you checked the various online car pricing sites?

Sorry, I was not clear in my question. I am the potential buyer. The GMC dealer is selling the trade in. Their sale price is about 10% off tesla new price, plus tax/registeration.

Oh!  Then definitely check online price calculators... That sounds high for any car 1st year depreciation (admittedly I've never bought a used car)

That seems like a good price for a 2026 RWD bought in September 2025 with 3k miles. New from Tesla is $45k plus $1390 destination and $250 deposit (taxes and dmv fees extra). What’s the interior - exterior color combo and wheel size? Please do take a test drive and get Carfax history prior to the purchase.

Problem is, there aren't going to be many other '26's on the market to compete so they can probably list it for whatever they want with no comparables. Compare it to low mile '25's and see if you like the price premium over those, and pray no one let the car sit and drain the battery down to nothing.
