Turn on low power mode and you won’t lose more than 3%, it disables almost all power consumption including battery heating. It won’t hurt it being too cold, just be sure to warm it up a bit such when you are getting about 20 min before you get to the car

Sentry mode is a cool feature, however; make sure this is turned off during your trip. Sentry takes a lot of battery. Avoid checking on the car with the app. Other than that, should be smooth sailing. Aim for leaving it at 50% battery or higher.

PNW… if it’s at SeaTac and at the actual airport, just plug in, they have a ton of EV parking designed just for this… if you can’t get the parking low power mode, but I’ve left it in February weather (and not this warm year) for a week before lower power mode was a thing and was fine I did turn off sentry mode though

If you are going to PDX they have about 40+ level 1 chargers to plug into for free. I usually go to the red lot.
Otherwise charge to 90%, turn off sentry mode/summon mode is you have fsd and come back to 80%+ charge.
Even if you forget to turn off sentry mode it will do it for you at 20%.

Can we normalize not answering questions that get asked multiple times a week? Let's stop encouraging lazy behavior

Hmmm, not when you’re flying out of an airport 3 hrs from where you live 😉

Disabling camera detection for Sentry Mode may be sufficient. Then, cameras still activate if there's an incident.

Thank you! We are flying out of PDX/ that’s super helpful.

So do you just plug in and charge up and then move to a normal spot ?

Nope. It sits there all week slow charging. Since I live 10 minutes from PDX I usually go there about 30% charge. Set it to 80%. Then the night before I fly back homei set it to 100%.
There is an IKEA literally down the road 5 minutes with superchargers.
I typically fly out at 7am so I'm there by 5am and never had a problem finding an open charger at PDX.
Just hit up the IKEA chargers before going to park if your that nervous about it. That way if nothing is available you don't need to worry about anything
Just a warning...PDX slow chargers require the J1772 adapter!!

Thanks so much! Not really nervous just wasn’t sure how it worked. Thanks for the info!
