App selecting wrong driver

Ok_Contact_5940 | 2026-02-13 01:02 | 16 views

We have 4 authorized drivers for our 2023 MYAWD. No FSD. Suddenly, when driver one approaches, with phone and bluetooth on it will select driver two and commence to set seat, mirrors etc. for driver two. We deleted all drivers and added back only the 2 primary drivers. Still the same. Deleted app and reinstalled, added 2 drivers, still no go. Anyone else having this issue or similar?

check this: To link a Tesla key (phone, card, or fob) to a driver profile, activate your profile, go to **Controls > Locks > Keys** on the touchscreen, and tap the driver icon next to the desired key.  [https://youtu.be/xpR44vMO3xI?si=LV9-u03FnlesNgZa&t=284](https://youtu.be/xpR44vMO3xI?si=LV9-u03FnlesNgZa&t=284)

BTW. Driver two is no where near the car.

If multiple phone keys are present you must select a preferred profile.

No other key is anywhere near.

Try a scroll wheel reset, and completely remove (forget) all the devices from the vehicle. Do the same on each phone, delete the Tesla as a device. Download any applicable software updates, if any. Try adding *one* driver at a time first… hopefully this works. How many key cards/devices other than phones are programmed?
