I’m not missing ACP in our Juniper. I used to use ACP in our other Ev and just shifted to using the Android Automotive in the car.

iMessage (so group chats) is the only thing I really miss from Carplay tbh.

I miss actual good navigation. And MS Teams support. And Plexamp. Ok I miss a lot of stuff about CarPlay.

I would get instead the upcoming S3XY Console from Enhance which has not only carplay but other cool Software features

Weird. I find cars with carplay to be so confusing. How you switch between the car and phone's map programs or audio. Tesla's is so nice and integrated, even with battery estimates etc.

I would never want to use the car’s map. Apple Maps and Google Maps are superior to all integrated navigation programs. And for long trips in an EV, you could use ABRP, which handles range and charging, AND is better than Tesla nav. I’d really just like to have the option. Tesla’s iPhone integrations painfully underbaked and slapping CarPlay on the system would cure those pain points overnight.

With an Intel HW3 vehicle here, I ain't holding my breath. But one can always hope.

CarPlay is cartoonish compared to Tesla’s native interface.

Carplay is so bad compared to many Chinese phone’s integration with their EVs to the point I am almost happy it’s not on tesla.. so tesla would spend time to integrate with iOS devices in their OS

Isn't tesla's map directly based on google maps?

OpenStreetMap/TomTom for navigation. Google for satellite imagery. Updates every 6 months.
