Do you have 3 different driving selections now because of this? I don’t have the boost and I only have 2 driving levels. I believe it’s Chill and Standard.

Ah ok. I think the Performance is the one that unlocks 3 then. What is it about the boost that makes it worth it for you? Genuinely curious.
Fast all round speed. Kicks way harder. Much better sport mode
Makes it easier to get around the road boulder who speeds up every time you try to pass them
nice.. but we use FSD so often, AB won't make a diff for us.
My performance only has chill and sport.

I see. I thought maybe the boost would enable that on a performance based on your drive modes. I guess ludicrous and insane were prior drive modes no longer offered.
Ludicrous is no longer, insane still is. Both of which only come on S and X. 3 and Y only ever got performance as their highest trim.
Can you set the AB per profile… I mean I love it.. my wife does not and I was wondering if I could disable it on her profile

3 and y refreshed performance should have insane mode.
For anyone who tested both the pre-Juniper with AB and Juniper with AB. How does it compare?
I have never had a problem with anyone even without the acceleration boost in 2021MY or 2023MY. People cannot hang.
My 2026 Performance has three and I keep in insane mode. It's very tame at normal acceleration and then can haul ass when you put the medal down.
Mad Max has never come anywhere close to using even the stock power available without the boost for me, boost should basically only increase the available acceleration when flooring it and I can't imagine FSD would ever do that unless they someday make a rally mode, or an I misunderstanding something?
Can’t you just put her profile on chill?
It replaces “standard” with “sport” and chill remains. I did a trial refund to test it last year. That’s how it works contemporarily on a Y.

Here in Orange County, CA a lot of those boulders are other Teslas. I love driving my wife’s MYP but there’s definitely a reputation here with so many bad drivers (Irvine in particular 😂)

Yes. No joke. But keep an eye out on the tires. I had too much fun with it and had to replace my tire early lol.
.5 secs is massive
Other subs lump Tesla drivers with Prius drivers as road boulders. Why would you buy one of the fastest production cars and be a road boulder?
In the San Francisco Bay Area, many people are very anti-Tesla and do everything they can to either keep us from passing or they’ll brake check us just for fun.
I don’t get it either but it’s definitely a thing here. Same types will leave a football field between their car and the car in front of them at stop lights or in traffic as well. I love how it can accelerate so fast to get you out of a pickle or get around people merging onto the freeway going 30mph.
And unless they have an incredible car, they’re not going to keep you from passing, whether you have acceleration boost or not.
When I see a Tesla driving slowly like that, I just assume they have range anxiety.
