Park Assist Unavailable & Blank Cameras (except reverse) after light rain - yet FSD still works?

Hey everyone, looking for some insight for a bizarre issue I ran into this morning. I took the car out in some light rain, and when I got back an hour later, I got the "Park Assist Unavailable" message and almost all my camera feeds are showing up as completely black/blank on the screen. the reverse camera still works . There is no visualization of surrounding objects/cars on the screen, but FSD still engages and drives normally. It’s like the car can see everything, but it’s refusing to show it to me. What I tried so far: • Soft reset (both scroll wheels). • Hard power cycle (Safety > Power Off > wait 2 mins). • Called Support: They walked me through the same resets and basically told me I need a service appointment. Has anyone dealt with this specific combo where FSD works but the UI is blind? Thanks in advance for any help!

I’m gonna be real here. The number of times I’ve had errors like this *that resolve themselves after a day or two* is pretty astonishing. My 3 month old M3 just had some bizarre behavior last week where the drivers memory seat, window, folding mirror all went haywire (with some lovely SRS errors on the screen) and the next day….all went back like nothing happened. It’s a rolling computer, I think they just have bad days. I’d make an appointment in case it comes back, but monitor it until then.

This happened to me a few months ago. [Resetting the DAS](https://youtu.be/qquaXrBUoho?si=jtlP1YqvmSJpS9cs) in service mode is what fixed it for me

That’s very helpful! Thank you “Reddit support “ . That took me 45 seconds and it worked flawlessly. It’s fixed .

FSD is on a different computer than the one that does the display. Some functions handled by one computer and some by another. You can actually be using FSD and do the two finger reboot and FSD stays working the entire time.
