I will say as someone who owns a legacy and hated the juniper look, it is definitely growing on me

But the legacy is by far nicer looking

What do they get with extra karma?

The performance model of the Y both juniper and legacy look way better than the lower trims. It actually looks like a higher end classier and more expensive car. The small differences make a big difference. The staggered big wheels, lowered, brakes cf spoiler etc.  I had some YP owners tell me the lower base trim Ys cheapen the car. Especially the ones with the bottom basic wheels. Ugly AF.  The juniper at least improved that even the cheapest wheels and the updated front and rear still look like a relatively classy and mid priced vehicle.
