Sounds like a great way to burn out your heat pump.
I wouldn’t do that. Just get proper insulation. My garage usually sits around 5-30F even if it’s less than 0F out.
That might work in an ICE vehicle (still not a good idea of course), but it's a losing proposition for an EV with a heat pump. Heat pumps work by moving energy from one place to another. If you have the car in the garage and prop the doors open, you're just...wasting energy and doing zero to heat the space.
