Hard wired is safer.

Mobile Connector at 240v is fine, just don't plug and unplug it often. Installation and socket rated for constant use is more important. Hire a professional to do it since you are needing to ask. I have both Wall and Mobile and if I did it over again, would have just went with a 240v plug and mobile connector and left it as the only thing plugged into that socket. Have it finish charging just before you drive. Car has a scheduling feature. The act of charging gets the battery up to temp giving you more efficiency especially in the cold weather. You want to garage any car regardless of the type of car for obvious reasons. If you really lived in a snowy enviornment you already know the answer about AWD or RWD. It's about your tires and you as a driver needing to be outside during such conditions. From the rest of your questions, it sounds like you should just demo drive one.

Thank you. I got the car delivered 2 days ago. Charger installed a week ago, using Nema with 240v plug. Just charging overnight and Tesla advisor told to always plug in like usually night time too when not in charging… is this okay?

Yep. Leave the mobile charger plugged in the 14-50 and plug in every night. No chance I'd take a hardwired charger over my (professionally wired) 14-50/mobile charger set up.

Thanks. We don’t need to plug in day time right? I mean into port?

I Leave the car plugged in at home or if we are out of town but never really needed to charge at home during a normal day. It charges quick enough on the 14-50 that just plug the car in in the evening and tell the car to start charging whenever to finish by 8am.

The only thing I am confused with this. If I need to plug in like whole day if I won’t go out or don’t use the car on that day

No. The car doesn't need to constantly plugged in during the day. Most people just plug in at night/sleeping time.

Gotcha. Just want to make sure no need to plug in all the day, but plug in the night and schedule charging when needed?

Yes. It's a non issue. We forget to plug it in some nights. No issue, plenty of battery for days of local driving. Enjoy the car. Warm the cabin prior to departure and battery is even better.
