2023 Model Y – No OBD port near pedals + trunk 12V outlet not working? Is this normal?
Hey everyone, I have a 2023 Model Y Long Range HW4 and I ran into two things that left me a bit confused. First, I can’t find an OBD port anywhere near the pedals or under the dash. I checked carefully and it just doesn’t seem to be there. Is this normal on newer Model Y versions? Does Tesla remove it completely or relocate it somewhere else? Second issue: the 12V “cigarette lighter” outlet in the trunk isn’t getting any power. I tested the same LED strip in the center console outlet and it works fine, but the rear one seems completely dead. I tried with the car in Drive and also while sitting inside with the screen on, but no luck. Is this something simple like a setting (Camp Mode or something?) or could it be a fuse? And if it needs service, does Tesla typically charge to fix something like this, or would it be covered under warranty? Appreciate any insight from you guys. I’m still learning all the quirks of this car. Thanks! 🙏
