If emergency pull doesn’t open the door, it’s got nothing to do with any update. The emergency pull is purely mechanical.
So idk maybe door is just unlatched
Or the latch mechanism is whats messing up
Did you open up a service request?
EDIT I WOKE UP AND TRIED IT AND IT FIXED IDK BUT ITS WHATEVER!
So no mechanical issue and cause still unknown? Hope it won't happen again at an uncomfortable moment.
I hope not either I soft reset the car and plugged it up and went to bed woke up it was fine.
If your emergency pull wasn’t working I’d still have it checked out, that suggests a mechanical problem.
Please open a Service Request ANYTIME anything like this happens or you notice anything odd. If it’s nothing, no big deal. When you open a Service Request, it marks the EXACT time in the logs so that if there is something, they can identify what happened, especially if related to an update..
Okay thank you I will if anything weird happens again
It doesn't really "mark" anything, it'll just pull the logs for analysis to the Tesla mothership/server. You should still write an exact timestamp (date and time, if possible down to the second) when you last tried it and it didn't work.
Any chance you're living in freezing conditions (judging by the "taxi sticker" on the door button) if yes, the latch was just frozen...
It was cold the last few nights but I do live GA its been a little on the warmer end for quite some time now
Well then you might wanna check the door wiring fir damage...
