Model Y Juniper Tint- xpel Cermaic XR plus

Is roof glass tint helpful in removing heat? I know the new glass is supposed to be much better in general, but when I test drove one, I could feel the sun on my head. I live in Texas, so the sun is our enemy.

If you are general customer they didn’t put genuine XPEL ceramic XR + all around the car and windshield for $400.
