Charger not working

I’ve had my Tesla for two years now and just recently my level 2 charger at home isn’t working properly. its either not connecting to the car or i have to keep putting it in and out until it works. i’m in michigan so it’s been very cold recently. is that the reason or do i need to eat a new charger? EDIT: i’ve tried 2 different level 2 chargers and a supercharger and nothing. And now the light is blinking red. I’ve had this car for 1 1/2 years and 17k miles. am i still under warranty?

You'll need to give more details. Is it powered (are the lights on the unit turned on)? What color? Does the car give any messages? Have you checked the breaker? Have you reset the charger (with the red button on the side)?

the car just says charge port opened. the color on the ca flips between blue and white. i did not know there is a red button

Check the breaker to ensure it's not tripped. And maybe flip the breaker off, leave off for 15 seconds, and turn back on to reset the charger. If still an issue, try the red button on the side - hold down for 5-10 seconds.

See if it works on another Level-2 charger, if so, it is not the Tesla.

Understood. Find a free/paid L2 charger locally - these run on AC like your current charger. The plugshare app/site can tell you where they are. Or ask on Nextdoor or local Facebook group if you can test someone elses. This is standard troubleshooting. For example, if you got a TV that is not turning on try a different remote, or fresh batteries, or a different power cord.
