Running Michelin X-ice swapped onto the original 19” rims. The juniper is a beast on the snow. Snowy mountain roads are no issue.

I only have one complaint. The way windscreen fluid is released on the windshield through the wipers. It splashes all over and on the top of the roof leaving stains

Stock Pirellis? Mine came with Continentals and they do not look confidence inspiring whatsoever. I’m actually afraid to try them!

it is tedious to make sure your cameras are clear before you leave though.
i couldn't even use auto steer this morning because the cameras got dirty from the water / salt on the road

yes it needs to start spraying immediately when hitting the button then it needs to start wiping, I hope they can change the algo on this because it wipes then sprays at the top of its stroke which isn't great

It drives me nuts. My side windows always have gunk on them because the windshield doesn’t have gutters on the side.

Same here. Still on stock pirelli and have no issues climbing in and out of the snow mounds here in NY. I never dug out my car during the last snow storm. It climbed out of there so perfectly and FSD had never had an issue

Slippery Surface Mode?

Using hakka 10.
And slippery surface makes a big difference.
You go from rear wheel drive to 4 wheel drive.
Standard is 4 wheel once you lose traction, which you feel, not the most relaxing experience.

I also hate the last wipe.
You drench the windshield to get it clean and then it waits until all fluid is gone before it smears the dirt out again.

Thanks! I thought maybe Tesla finally got closer to a true "snow mode".
