Model Y Standard Range AWD 4680 Lawsuit

zensamuel | 2025-10-14 21:05 | 77 views

Can anyone help with formulating a lawsuit against Tesla for misleading the customer on the charging curve of this vehicle? I bought one, and I don't remember any disclosure that it has a much slower charge curve than the Long Range. I think the only difference disclosed was the difference in range and 0-60 time. Would anyone else with this model be interested in collaborating to file a lawsuit about this?

Did you opt out of the arbitration clause within the required 30 days?

zensamuel 2025-10-14 21:37

No. But I'm reading this does not pertain to Small Claims Court. Any other thoughts?

So, you are bothered by being lied to, but were not bothered enough by the white supremacy and fascism? Ok.

nice deflection

zensamuel 2025-10-14 22:01

How about I make a separate post for those issues?

And then he opened his mouth lol.

Attorney here. You need to talk to an attorney and delete this post. Posting things on the internet is generally bad practice when litigation is imminent, as your posts are discoverable. Also, “I don’t remember,” is not grounds for a lawsuit.

Small claims court and “collaboration” are antonyms. You have to be there as an individual, without counsel, and class actions aren’t a thing.

OK, thanks for your thoughts. This is where I’m struggling, I think their lack of disclosing anything means I can’t find any information on it.

IIRC, a review I saw on YouTube specifically said it would be slower than a Premium MYLR, which is already slow when compared to other EVs.

Who remembers battery day? What a hype up of a flop. Typical con-man behavior.

zensamuel 2025-10-14 22:47

I think those videos were made by users after I received my car

spam__likely 2025-10-14 23:14

Bought a car from a White supremacist. Still deflecting. I guess you and Musk deserve each other.

spam__likely 2025-10-14 23:15

No. You bought the car. You have no issues with that.

zensamuel 2025-10-14 23:26

Dude. Review your timeline. I bought the car in February of 2023. Anyways, I would buy a new one today if I had the money. VW used to make cars for Hitler. If you pay taxes you are supporting Trump. Where does it end?

spam__likely 2025-10-14 23:32

HAHAHA As expected, always: "I got scammed but VW made cars for Hitler 80 years ago, so I would buy a car from a guy promoting the same shit today!" You keep digging yourself deeper and deeper. I hope you get everything you deserve.

Well he can sue for the lying. Being a white supremacist in favor of fascism are prerequisites for a judicial nomination these days.

See, you keep saying that they didn’t disclose something. There’s more to it than that. You need to show they had a duty to disclose, they breached that duty, and that it has caused you damage in some way. I really don’t see how you prove any of those three things. You selected a product from them and purchased it. They didn’t force you to select the model you did. They’re not obligated to try to dissuade you from purchasing one of their models because another has features you may consider different or better. And, what is the damage? How are you financially harmed? I don’t think you are. I think you’re just dissatisfied with your purchase because you didn’t do enough research, and you’re looking to shift blame. Also, as far as what you “remember” them disclosing? I’m willing to bet that if you look at the specs they publish you could have found the information on the charging rates, you just failed to do that. I found [this](https://www.tesla.com/support/charging/onboard-charger) with 15 seconds of effort on Google. These are all things that Tesla’s lawyers will point out. Good luck.

Some small claims allows for lawyers, I believe. At least as an advisor

Withnail2019 2025-10-15 09:13

Did Tesla make any representations at all about the charging time? If they didn't promise anything I doubt there's anything you can do.

[deleted] 2025-10-15 09:52

Even if they did, it’ll have been shielded behind eight layers of disclaimers and estimates and “based on ideal conditions” and whatnot

gwestr 2025-10-17 06:50

It has alien battery tech. Elon said and he never lies. He has been making billions of these cells a day out of a pilot plant in Fremont. It wasn't a fake video of a Campbell's soup can labeler.
