The march of progress continues.. Tesla ai team doing great work.

No-Pilot5559 2025-10-07 21:13

Your windshield wipers stress me out

AWildDragon 2025-10-07 21:17

This probably needs the front bumper cam right?

Instinct043 2025-10-07 21:18

The video seems to be sped up that's why

chubbedup 2025-10-07 21:22

Nope, my highland 3 does it as well! Awesome update

dubie4x8 2025-10-07 21:23

I personally wouldn’t currently trust it pulling into unknown areas without one

YouKidsGetOffMyYard 2025-10-07 21:25

Holy crap that looks just like my driveway, I can confirm 13.2.9 will no way do what it just did in that video. Can't wait!

noobs1996 2025-10-07 21:26

How does it know to pull into the garage vs just the driveway?

[deleted] 2025-10-07 21:33

AWildDragon 2025-10-07 21:33

Oooh

[deleted] 2025-10-07 21:39

Daaaaamn. That's impressive *cries in hw3

fifichanx 2025-10-07 21:39

That’s awesome, I wonder if it will back out of garage on the next drive out?

AgonizingFury 2025-10-07 21:48

Pulls into my garage as well, wondering if it uses automatic garage location settings for myQ or HomeLink? Because it ignores my wife's garage even though it's closer

jaqueh 2025-10-07 21:49

those wipers tho

pts120 2025-10-07 21:49

Can it also reverse into the garage?

jaqueh 2025-10-07 21:49

watch it with the sound on

w6750 2025-10-07 21:59

Did you really just call that a messy garage?

devidashley 2025-10-07 22:13

I'm in the FSD beta and first noticed my car pulls into my garage weeks ago. It was by accident since it used to just stop on the street. I was just letting it stop itself when it slowly turned up my driveway and started to enter the garage before stopping. Since I have a lot of stuff inside right now it doesn't fully park, but I just have to push the pedal a bit since it's perfectly lined up. I have a steep driveway with a narrow curb cut (outdated construction) so it's a bit impressive.

devidashley 2025-10-07 22:17

Model 3 2022 Software: v12 (2025.32.6 e575ed98d527) Full Self-Driving (Supervised) Software: v12.6.4

ramanana01 2025-10-07 22:19

It parked in front of the garage when the door was closed on his first attempt.

matroosoft 2025-10-07 22:33

It has a new setting for parking mode (curbside, parking place, parking garage) Guess that's what he's using.

moldy912 2025-10-07 22:54

God I wish my wife wasn’t such a city girl, such a cool driveway.

NikolaWasRight13 2025-10-07 22:55

But can it back up into my garage? Thats seriously all I want from FSD

Lunares 2025-10-07 23:04

Wonder how it handles two car garage? I normally get home before my wife and so need to bias to one side

ajn63 2025-10-07 23:22

I don’t have 14.1 yet but mine has been able to pull into my driveway for several weeks. It stops short of pulling into the garage.

Nhaiben369 2025-10-07 23:55

You need ceramic coating on your windshield

goonwild18 2025-10-07 23:55

So you're saying it's still only 40 years from what Elon promised the technology could easily do by 2018?

pauerplay 2025-10-08 00:14

Still haven’t fixed them…

[deleted] 2025-10-08 00:30

This is normal behavior for the auto wipers. Even after years of tweets about “improvements.”

WoWords 2025-10-08 00:31

I mean it’s pretty cool, but I am surprised that’s new? Pulling up to a static place like a garage seems waaaaaay easier than driving around in traffic.

catsRawesome123 2025-10-08 00:45

PLZ come to HW3

Snakend 2025-10-08 01:13

All I think about is the amount of work it would take to maintain a property like that.

Snakend 2025-10-08 01:14

They are doing rideshare in Texas already. Not sure what you are talking about.

say592 2025-10-08 01:41

That's what I want to know! I have to back in to charge, and I prefer to back in even when I don't need to charge because it's easier to get out.

DelayNoMorexxx 2025-10-08 01:43

my hw3 did 99% of the job and i still want this 1% parking itself!!!!!!!!!! 🥲🥲just update this parking stuff for hw3 pretty please

goonwild18 2025-10-08 01:55

"already" ? OMFG were you born yesterday? Jesus. I owned a 2021 Model Y - because of 6 years of misinformation straight out of Elon's mouth. It was terrible at summon, it was useless as a self driving vehicle, the technology was trash vs. the talk. Not a terrible car - I enjoyed it. I sold it with 24k miles on it for $17k more than I paid for it because of the electronic shortages driven by the pandemic. I might even buy another someday.... however.... coming to the rescue of that fucking lying idiot is a really mouth-breather move; it just screams both low IQ and living in denial.

Snakend 2025-10-08 02:05

Sorry you were tricked into buying a product before it was available. I had issues like that on Kickstarter. I bought 3 Teslas from 2021-2023. I did not buy FSD on any of them because I refused to buy something that did not exist yet. I paid for the $200 subscription one month in 2022 and realized it was absolutely terrible. But the FSD that is available today is very close to being unsupervised, and it's disingenuous to say it's going to take 40 more years to perfect. I would say its already better than a majority of human drivers. Also, I detest Musk. I would get rid of these cars if I wasn't upside down on them. I paid a mini fortune for these cars and I need them to last me 15 years ish. But my opinion of Musk is not related to the performance of FSD.

oaktreebr 2025-10-08 02:20

"Garadge"?

One-Sundae-2711 2025-10-08 03:08

lol i sold mine cause the wipers drove me nuts.

krazineurons 2025-10-08 03:21

That isn't a driveway! I seems as if AP just continued on a long unwinding road and happened to run into a garage, it powered through thinking it's a tunnel :).

hmspain 2025-10-08 03:39

With NO MARKERS on the pavement?!? I want this SO BAD!

hmspain 2025-10-08 03:40

At the next all hands, I want Elon to ask the FSD team to stand, and I'll be on my feet applauding!

hmspain 2025-10-08 03:43

Just got back from the dentist where I mused about being given Xanax or some such before they attacked my teeth. The hygienist said ... "But then you wouldn't be able to drive HOME!". LOL

OverwatchPlaysLive 2025-10-08 04:52

They can program your car to do this, but still can't fix the ridiculous wiper rain detection.

[deleted] 2025-10-08 05:18

No that I don’t believe this but I’m either going to need to see the whole steering wheel or both hands at all times for this to be confirmed, I could make the same video in my non-self driving car

KnubblMonster 2025-10-08 05:46

Just pay other people to do it for you, easy!

[deleted] 2025-10-08 06:40

[deleted]

Batavijf 2025-10-08 06:49

No, it's not normal. I've had auto wipers in various cars, the only ones that stressed out like this, were the cheap ones on my Peugeot 206. My Toyota's are doing just fine and hardly ever stress out like this.

Vescor 2025-10-08 06:55

Normal for Tesla

AlrightyAlmighty 2025-10-08 07:20

What's a dirty Tesla

From_Internets 2025-10-08 07:31

Full self driving before full self wiping

handbanana42 2025-10-08 07:40

They said "into" but I haven't seen either so I'm just poiting out what I read from OP.

[deleted] 2025-10-08 08:03

But Tesla went camera-only on mine…so they work like this. They also went camera-only for FSD, which means the wipers need to go in full apeshit mode to keep the front facing cameras clear.

IDNWID_1900 2025-10-08 08:48

It's so the cameras can see the garage properly, duh! /s

javawizard 2025-10-08 09:50

The opposite of how humans learn.

Axle-f 2025-10-08 09:58

I have a tight garage spot and the car constantly freaks out about how close im getting to the walls

wwwz 2025-10-08 12:06

People like you...

wwwz 2025-10-08 12:07

I use a bidet

Terrh 2025-10-08 12:10

The AP1 demo video in 2014 shows the car doing this soooo

wwwz 2025-10-08 12:10

Call gravel dude once every 3 years, done.

EggotheKilljoy 2025-10-08 13:50

I’d need it to back into the garage, and my garage is detached with the entrance in the alley behind the house, so even if my HW3 car could pull into the garage, I feel like it’s too tight of a space to do it reliably with another car in the garage

Schnitzhole 2025-10-08 14:20

This. He manually opened the door in advance. I assume with homelink or a quick garage door opener finger it could do this too

ISayAboot 2025-10-08 14:37

Need this. Tight spot in the garage too! Love FSD!!!

Bigotedcynips 2025-10-08 15:12

Hahaha! That’s exactly what I thought the moment I started watching the video. Honestly, Tesla showrooms should run a stress test for buyers before they hand over the keys, because if that happens while driving, it could seriously throw someone off or even trigger a panic attack.

rayquan36 2025-10-08 15:20

I have a one car garage with pretty tight clearances, I wonder how it would do there. My current car (not a Tesla) is always beeping and freaking out because of that.

Temporary-Event9885 2025-10-08 16:07

Yup, our gravel driveway is 1/3 of a mile long, and also is up a slope. We live in the Pacific North Wet. Our older FSD on a 2025 MY would NOT traverse it. We gave up on FSD after the free trial. And...it is not cheap to maintain that road, and the drainage ditches. Almost $1k in gravel this year, and same two years ago. Gravel has gone from around $100 a truck load to around $450. Luckily a good truck driver can spread it so no other work is needed. It must be preped prior to new gravel. I have to use a tractor and blade to "re-crown" the road...i.e. slope the road toward each edge/ditch. This eliminates potholes. But we have friends who never! fix their long gravel drive. Yup...its not cheap to live out on acreage...but when you wake up in the morning and see and hear the wildlife, and sit around the firepit at night and see all the stars, well, its just magical.

cdurbin909 2025-10-08 16:52

Can you choose for it to back in vs pull in forward?

FIREgenomics 2025-10-08 17:23

His and her garages? Fancy!

BlueShift42 2025-10-08 17:38

Same situation. I need to back in to charge. I see no reason it couldn’t, but also don’t see why it would unless you were able to train or instruct it somehow. That’s the problem, how do we tell it that we want it to back in and not go in forward?

Nreekay 2025-10-08 17:43

Could not even finish the video after seeing those wipers lol.

Snakend 2025-10-08 18:07

A property like that would keep an arborist in business for life.

Sandwich83 2025-10-08 18:26

Too bad the wipers still don't work

Californian20 2025-10-08 19:41

It already does that. Start 'FSD from Parking' from the garage and it backs out to the road, and continues from there.

Training_Canary_6961 2025-10-08 20:16

Musk is awesome, a true pioneer.

Lichensuperfood 2025-10-08 20:30

Is there something annoying about how those wipers work, or is it just me?

Snakend 2025-10-08 20:39

I'll agree that he is pioneer, and his businesses and tech are awesome. But him as a human is not.

D_Dubbya 2025-10-08 21:14

Are there M3 versions with rain sensors on wipers? I thought all Tesla models were cursed with the horrible auto wipers.

[deleted] 2025-10-08 21:37

Pretty sure all 3’s and Y’s use camera only.

isademigod 2025-10-09 01:03

Hah, I was about to disagree because I rented a car once with auto wipers and they were borderline schizophrenic, going into maximum warp speed at the slightest drizzle. It was also a Peugeot

RScottyL 2025-10-09 01:18

When he turns on his turn signal, the interior lighting flashes green as well. Is this part of: (1) Model Y only (2) FSD 14 (3) ???

tcourtney22 2025-10-09 01:20

I hope so, my MYLR24 passes my driveway every day, making me look like an ass

lagom_kul 2025-10-09 01:57

I guess turning off the wipers would just be showing off.

Trihardest 2025-10-09 02:07

I just saw the YT video. Great first look video. Hopefully the brake blipping is a bug that will be fixed

[deleted] 2025-10-09 06:35

Good to see that the wipers still go bonkers... Good old code rot is back?

Training_Canary_6961 2025-10-09 09:27

Most really smart people weren’t that great as a human being unfortunately

Present-Ad-9598 2025-10-09 12:37

Pretty sure those are just stock wipers, what’s so wrong with them

Equivalent-Draft9248 2025-10-09 13:17

Is that made by KIa?

Commercial_Pirate_62 2025-10-09 23:34

WOW!! Meanwhile, I’m waiting for v13. And auto-turn signals. Maybe. On H3.

jg3hot 2025-10-10 01:17

My dad told me his tesla surprised him this week by backing into his garage parking spot. It normally comes to a stop in the driveway.

PM_TITS_FOR_KITTENS 2025-10-10 04:07

They’re talking about how it’s on the fastest setting even though it seems like light rain on the video

serrimo 2025-10-10 08:03

Without LIDAR, Tesla uses the vibration from the wipers to echolocate obstacles. Yes, your Tesla is an electric bat-mobile.

Present-Ad-9598 2025-10-10 13:22

I mean you can hear and see the rain in the video, it’s enough that FSD would have trouble without keeping the lenses clear

Expensive_Leading_27 2025-10-14 05:18

Love your channel bro

Early_Joke_7693 2025-10-29 15:20

How do you get it to find the driveway. Mine goes 3 houses down and stops

Opumilio318 2026-01-07 18:48

Messy garage?
