I wasn’t a huge fan of the new Y but this is even uglier. I have warmed up to the new Y seeing so many around.

NeckBackPssyClack 2025-10-03 01:14

florida plate?

vivi_will 2025-10-03 01:15

how affordable, anyone?

FewSchedule1058 2025-10-03 01:19

Hmm. I was hoping for the same headlights as the highland. Oh well….

Aztrach4 2025-10-03 01:20

why is the back like that. All they have to do is just copy the M3 rear design

QuantumProtector 2025-10-03 01:21

Save costs by reusing parts

QuantumProtector 2025-10-03 01:21

Reveal must be imminent if we are seeing unwrapped cars.

ThotPoppa 2025-10-03 01:21

$40k, so basically a $5k price reduction. so much hype for nothing.

katherinesilens 2025-10-03 01:23

I like the look better than Juniper. Never liked the lightbar much.

[deleted] 2025-10-03 01:24

I think I saw this thing on the highway today.

Dr_Pippin 2025-10-03 01:25

I'm happy to see the light bar removed.

Harryhodl 2025-10-03 01:25

Yes FL plate. Maybe this thing is near Space X launch? Not sure why it would be in Florida.

katherinesilens 2025-10-03 01:26

For me it's the opposite. I still don't really like the new Y, and while I'm no huge fan of this design I think it looks better with no light bar. Validates what a lot of us were saying when Juniper was revealed.

Harryhodl 2025-10-03 01:26

Me too, I think this looks better. I’m concerned it’s not different enough though and will muddy Y sales. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hot-Dragonfruit6582 2025-10-03 01:28

Much prefer the front. Didn't like the front lightbar since it feels like the identity kinda blends with the cybertruck.

naztynestor 2025-10-03 01:28

the better version lol

HotPink124 2025-10-03 01:29

Is that true? And how much did they remove?

[deleted] 2025-10-03 01:29

[deleted]

watergoesdownhill 2025-10-03 01:30

A lot of other companies are discounting to make up for the 7500 credit going away. Tesla will follow.

StartledPelican 2025-10-03 01:31

I feel like I'm alone on this, but, if I had to pick one, I'd keep the Juniper front and revert to the pre-Juniper rear.

Croathlete 2025-10-03 01:33

I don't think this is going to sell well. This is like the gutted single motor Cybertruck. They took too much out and no one wanted it. Feel like they're making the same mistake again.

Intelligent-Ebb-8593 2025-10-03 01:35

As an Tesla owner (mylr 2023), if I happen to get myself a new car it would be a new Mercedes CLA or some other car with the same charging speeds and capacity.

Super_consultant 2025-10-03 01:35

I don’t hate it. Wonder how much this will cost if it’s expected to be _the_ affordable Tesla.

ThotPoppa 2025-10-03 01:36

It was a leak but I’m willing to bet that it’s most likely accurate. Not sure how much they removed besides for the glass roof and light bar. I suspect other things such as removal of power seats, rear touch screen, cheaper sound system etc

Ok_Cake1283 2025-10-03 01:38

Equinox doesn't drive itself though. Tesla is a more premium product.

_sd1810 2025-10-03 01:38

They really put this together with rejected parts. What up with that trunk over hanging onto the rear bumper.

Over_Pop_8378 2025-10-03 01:38

Eh...entirely different I think. The Cybertruck had problems selling all around because not a ton of people wanted it (regardless of configuration) and it had the stigma of being a Cybertruck. Not to mention the RWD base price was 70k which is insane for a RWD truck. This is a much more practical vehicle and if it's priced low enough then I think it'll sell very well.

Woodtoad 2025-10-03 01:38

Still has a glass roof though?

RareUse7983 2025-10-03 01:40

AI generated pics 😉

Happy_Mention_3984 2025-10-03 01:42

Looks like it.

izzue66 2025-10-03 01:42

Assuming you are willing to pay for the self driving software, else it is just a advance cruise control.

Neskwiik 2025-10-03 01:43

Any chance of captains chairs in this like the YL?

[deleted] 2025-10-03 01:43

Front looks much nicer, more in line with the new m3. The back I’m a little torn on. The light bar assembly looks better since it isn’t a big rectangle on the back, but there’s also so much more empty space on the back

Joatboy 2025-10-03 01:43

Looks like 19" rims still. They should have gone to 18"

Neskwiik 2025-10-03 01:45

Looks like it has a glass roof in the pics

RamboTrucker 2025-10-03 01:45

Seeing the trunk go past the corner panels gives me anxiety

Snoo93079 2025-10-03 01:48

No they don't

ChrisPChicken91 2025-10-03 01:51

Interesting, the rear trunk window is curved again like the previous Generation Y.

ModY1219 2025-10-03 01:51

In honesty, this looks better than the existing one

Ant0n61 2025-10-03 01:51

nope look at the back. You can’t see through

Ant0n61 2025-10-03 01:52

$39,999

18randomcharacters 2025-10-03 01:53

Well I paid $62k for mine so fml

cloneman88 2025-10-03 01:54

Realistically how much does the light bar really cost to manufacture in the process??

Manufacturer regularly drive cars across the alley because they can get 150 mi straight as an arrow... I live in swfl and we see them all the time

BaxBaxPop 2025-10-03 02:02

None of the other companies are profitable in their EV's. How long can they keep making and selling cars at a loss if you add another $7,500 per car to the total loss. Tesla has a 16% profit margin on cars.

junglenut9 2025-10-03 02:04

SHAME

ProfessionalYak4959 2025-10-03 02:06

The tax credit is literally a subsidy, what else was going to happen? I support the tax credit, because it funds car makers who actually sell EVs, but since most cars are priced to the market, it makes perfect sense that the $7,500 would get built into that price.

petar_is_amazing 2025-10-03 02:09

I would actually love 18” wheels - more tire wall means smoother ride and sometimes better fuel economy

Worried_Elk5066 2025-10-03 02:10

Looks like Ironman.

Present-Ad-9598 2025-10-03 02:14

That is NOT price gouging, the $7500 was a government subsidy to force prices to come down on EV’s, now that it’s gone it’s up to the automaker to provide deals, Tesla constantly changes prices based on demand, material costs, and many other factors

LurkerWithAnAccount 2025-10-03 02:15

Didn’t Elon literally say “it looks like a Model Y, there, the cat’s out of the bag…” on the last earnings call?

FrostingSeveral5842 2025-10-03 02:18

Yeah, they don’t need to be profitable because they make tons of other profitable gas powered cars. Ford sells 3x as many cars per month than Tesla. They just don’t sell 3x as many EVs. If I have 20% margin of trucks and -8% on EVs, I can float the spread. If tesla isn’t profitable on EVs, their entire business is underwater. Tesla is not a diversified car manufacturer. They only make EVs. They don’t make light trucks, they don’t make commercial vehicles, their pickup is a sales failure. It’s so funny how many Tesla people ignore the realities of the billions in profit every other automaker is making per year on gas and diesel cars and tries to compare only their EV segment to Tesla under a microscope.

start3ch 2025-10-03 02:19

Which means they will just barely come out positive when they drop 7.5k off the price tag

AndrewNeo 2025-10-03 02:21

that's still more than I paid for my 2021 lmao

eazolan 2025-10-03 02:23

That's incredible. Give me 5k It shouldn't be a problem, since that's nothing to you.

PraiseTalos66012 2025-10-03 02:24

What's your point? So Tesla cars are cheaper despite Tesla profiting and their more expensive competitors losing money. EVs are the way the world is going, if you can't make a profit on EVs your business isn't going to last.

FrostingSeveral5842 2025-10-03 02:27

Says… you? That’s great teslas cars are cheaper. The question was how long can other manufacturers afford to sell cars at a loss. The answer is forever, in fact they could collude and price EVs below Teslas profitability margin and tank the entire company in probably 12 months. All because Tesla is a one trick pony whose cars all share design fundamentals of the model S from nearly 15 years ago and whose newest, best product is a sales Flop.

AndrewNeo 2025-10-03 02:28

the newer rear looks horrible

Ladi91 2025-10-03 02:28

The cheapest I can find is $35,495; with an included $1,000 incentive if paid cash.

StartledPelican 2025-10-03 02:28

Preach it brother.

Yukycg 2025-10-03 02:29

I just want the YL in USA and match the same price as China.

Ladi91 2025-10-03 02:30

If it is the cheap version; no way you are going to get second row captain chairs.

Prit-8275 2025-10-03 02:30

Which y is it

lonnie123 2025-10-03 02:31

The hype all came from the internet, not Tesla. And $5k is a nice chunk of change, not exactly nothing

YeetYoot-69 2025-10-03 02:32

The one in this picture has 19" rims but images found on the website suggest there are 18" coming too

YeetYoot-69 2025-10-03 02:32

This picture was taken in Austin TX.

lonnie123 2025-10-03 02:32

If that’s true that’s actually pretty insane. That’s what I paid for my standard range model 3 with auto pilot in 2018… and given what inflation has done the last 7 years to come in at the same price (and probably as much range as the long range version) is actually insane

YeetYoot-69 2025-10-03 02:33

No credible source on price. TeslaNewswire falsely reported that the 'website code' says it will be $39,990 which many have repeated, but it does not.

YeetYoot-69 2025-10-03 02:34

Depends on price.

Arte-misa 2025-10-03 02:39

I'm really not sure about your logic, which is in line like these people >The Carriage Monthly: In an April 1904 edition, the magazine declared that the elegant carriage would not be replaced by the less elegant automobile. >Emperor Wilhelm II of Germany: In 1916, he allegedly said, "I believe in the horse. The automobile is a temporary appearance".  >[https://quoteinvestigator.com/2021/07/17/auto-fad/](https://quoteinvestigator.com/2021/07/17/auto-fad/)

Nihilater 2025-10-03 02:40

Still looks like it has the glass roof

Makin-Magic 2025-10-03 02:43

I don’t care either way but was curious on how much revenue does tesla make on premium connectivity and supercharging etc and I got this „Tesla’s “Services & Other” segment (which includes things like supercharging, service centers, parts, software, connectivity, etc.) had $10.5 billion in revenue in 2024.” Which is not bad. Maybe they’ll make more with robotaxi but obviously have competition with others on that front as well. Still I’m no expert so if the other companies actually try to take Tesla down I have no idea what would happen.

QuantumProtector 2025-10-03 02:43

Makes the IONIQ5 so much more appealing.

daisy2443 2025-10-03 02:46

Me too

badiban 2025-10-03 02:49

What’s the difference in the interior?

redkulat 2025-10-03 02:52

The option to enable it with a monthly subscription is a gamechanger for road trips. I don't need it regularly but for a road trip, I'll pay the $99.

d1c1ple 2025-10-03 02:53

I’m planning on downsizing to 18” tSportLine or Martians after my 19” OEM Pirellis have run their lifespan on my 26’ MYLR

Hold_To_Expiration 2025-10-03 02:54

If this thing isn't 25k or less, China wins.

According-Trash9750 2025-10-03 02:55

Tesla already uses cheap materials.. I can’t imagine the quality of the more affordable version.

sm753 2025-10-03 02:56

Yes and no. There's a reason why every "legacy" automaker put the brakes on and reversed course after they all bet big on EVs...they were hemorrhaging money even with their gas car sales.

staticxtreme 2025-10-03 02:57

much prefer the new model y look, the lightbar at night is something else

WhereCanIFind 2025-10-03 03:01

They COULD, and then force other companies to drop their prices.

gogoALLthegadgets 2025-10-03 03:06

They should make the roof out of sugar glass like the beer bottles comedians smash over each others heads so when they incinerate in a car crash and the doors can’t be opened there’s still an exit. Smash that subscribe, make sure to follow and share for more life saving tips from ya boi.

Snoo93079 2025-10-03 03:07

They could do a lot of things, but they'll price to the market. They want to keep the price low enough to drive additional sales but high enough not to hurt sales of higher margin MYs or unnecessarily hurt margins. If anything they'll likely want to price higher and then use incentives to reduce the price to the customer while keeping the flexibility that a higher MSRP offers.

Michael-Brady-99 2025-10-03 03:07

The new Model Why lol

PraiseTalos66012 2025-10-03 03:08

Says who? Sales numbers. You know like actual real facts rather than your opinion.

dnlrf 2025-10-03 03:09

Front design is an upgrade - looks closer to the Highland front which is my favorite front of any commodity car. The back looks like ass, idk if anyone can defend that hatch overbite 🤮

Master-Pineapple-355 2025-10-03 03:11

Tesla doesn’t sell just cars, they are not a dealership and never have been, they are a software company. The physical buildings are called service centers for a reason. Some people seem to forget that. They are making a killing on FSD, connectivity, ESA, windshield, and wheel & tire subscriptions. They also make renewable energy, commercial applications, Tesla semi, they’re making money with robotaxi etc, Tesla as a company will do just fine, far better than Ford, Chevy etc even with the tax credit going away.

HorselessHorseman 2025-10-03 03:14

Double it and give it to the next person

[deleted] 2025-10-03 03:20

I honestly like it a lot more then the normal model y. I'd like to see it at night. I don't really like the rear end of the new model y very much because of the weird bar that the tail light reflects off of especially on a white car. But this without that applique looks pretty nice

Material_Tea_6173 2025-10-03 03:21

If that’s the price then not worth it. Prob better to pick up a used Juniper right?

Dogesneakers 2025-10-03 03:22

They need to replace the juniper light bar

jburnelli 2025-10-03 03:22

nah, the new model doesnt have a glass roof.

FoShizzleShindig 2025-10-03 03:23

Bunch of influencers at gigs Texas today. I bet it’s revealed tomorrow.

ILikeWhiteGirlz 2025-10-03 03:24

How much does a light bar really cost? Status symbol stuff to upcharge people Apple style with AirPods.

ILikeWhiteGirlz 2025-10-03 03:25

This was what always confused and irked me with the Model S doors. Makes it look like panel misalignment.

believe1182 2025-10-03 03:27

Totally

Aztrach4 2025-10-03 03:40

i cant imagine how much more they'll save with the rear light bar removed. They might saved some money but the overall look of the car went down imo. Some immaterial things that they remove can sometimes be the decision maker for some people. Like the stalks removal.

ersatzcrab 2025-10-03 03:48

Full body width LED light strips like that are pretty expensive to produce. Saving tens to hundreds of dollars per vehicle is an absolutely massive savings in the automotive world.

Crappy-_-Username 2025-10-03 03:50

What’s up with the old rounded rear glass on a new tailgate ?

Raeth666 2025-10-03 03:54

How can you tell this is the poor man's version?

aventine61 2025-10-03 04:00

The rumor is that it’s just black metal. To keep a similar look but with cost savings.

InterstellarChange 2025-10-03 04:01

Ford and GM bought their entire fleet of remaining ev's themselves, getting the $7500 gov. incentive. They will offer all the vehicles at a $7500 discounted msrp lease deal.

olifuck 2025-10-03 04:36

Idk I’m not convinced with the front yet. The light are so small the front feel.. empty? Maybe it’s the white accentuating this

Brutaka1 2025-10-03 04:38

By affordable you mean $10K less. Affordable would be in the $25K bracket.

n0th1ng_r3al 2025-10-03 04:44

I might be in the minority but I like it better than the current generation. That Cybertruck light bar at the front looks silly. Love the rear though

sparkyblaster 2025-10-03 04:48

More than ever I want to see the new model 3 tail lights on a Y. The light bar looks stupid and this is even worse.

machtwo 2025-10-03 04:58

SubprimeOptimus 2025-10-03 04:58

Consistent-Chapter-8 2025-10-03 04:58

Just imagine if Tesla had built the Monterrey plant and had a production line tooled up to produce the more affordable car. Instead, Elon got distracted. Maybe he'll regain focus, (relatively speaking, in his case) but I have my doubts.

MrCoolfella 2025-10-03 06:47

might just be me but I think this looks hideous

MrAgility888 2025-10-03 06:54

This needs to be $35000 to be competitive but I worry it will be closer to $40000. And the range will also be a big factor too.

Schnitzhole 2025-10-03 07:00

Hey at least you guys got to enjoy it before many of us. I think that’s worth something

Schnitzhole 2025-10-03 07:13

Don’t get me wrong I think it’s great they keep lowering the base cost. It just sucks compared to Colorado incentives of around $11.5k discount I got in August financing a new one. I got the new AWD MY 2026 Juniper for exactly $40,893. I get that that was government and state money that doesn’t exist anymore though but the RWD version would have put me around $35k territory.

dltesla 2025-10-03 07:13

It's never been so obvious who bought the cheap one.

shadowthunder 2025-10-03 07:28

Well, they should switch the regular Y over to a 3-like rear as well. Juniper is ugly on both ends, IMO.

Inevitable-Check-540 2025-10-03 07:31

You still think Tesla is a car company?

mittypyon 2025-10-03 07:38

Oh shaddap. Are you guys high? I LOVE the lightbar.

EddiewithHeartofGold 2025-10-03 08:07

Look! This guy already knows everything! /s

EddiewithHeartofGold 2025-10-03 08:10

People looking for affordable cars are not looking for "extras" like a light bar. In a car manufactured in the hundreds of thousands per year, reducing any unnecessary cost is a good decision. You can argue agains it, but it's still true.

EddiewithHeartofGold 2025-10-03 08:15

People here arguing looks on a "cheap" car. That's like arguing about the looks on a Toyota Camry. Buyers are not concerned about looks in that price segment. It doesn't matter what reddit thinks about how it looks. It's *completely* subjective anyway...

strawboard 2025-10-03 08:24

Same.

dragonfoor 2025-10-03 08:36

Is it me or the rear tailgate is seriously not aligned

EmuNo6570 2025-10-03 09:07

Cybertruck, semi and Roadster were all really big fails. Bit of a rant here. When I first started following Tesla in around 2012, I had seen a lot of documentaries about car assembly lines, and parts made of carbon fiber, etc. So naturally I expected, Tesla being most advanced = they'll have the coolest stuff. Not so. It's the opposite. They have the cheapest interior physically possible, as in basically a single piece of plastic. I don't like the UI on the screen. When I felt Model S door handles, I was astounded that they were such flimsy plastic. They did improve the motor and battery technology (and cooling, pre-heating) which is cool.. But the feeling of getting into a car and knowing it's going to be convenient, solid, and comfortable to use and look at, isn't there.

amirulsyafi 2025-10-03 09:14

Where’s the headlights? On the drl?

[deleted] 2025-10-03 09:29

You probably got $7500 from the government though

Ourcheeseboat 2025-10-03 09:54

True, but the completion has lower cost models that it shares the market with, 35,000, they had something, at 40,000, meh

Nearly every single traditional automaker outsells tesla on a month basis. They just don’t sell more EVs. This is a fact.

FrostingSeveral5842 2025-10-03 09:59

Ford, GM, Toyota, Honda outsell Tesla every month individually. They sell a suite of electric and gas cars. Tesla does not sell the most cars per year, they may sell the most EVs per year. The majority of cars sold are not EV. These are all literal facts.

FrostingSeveral5842 2025-10-03 10:23

EVs being prevalent in the future =\= Tesla being prevalent in the future. They have a declining market share. Other companies make compelling offerings. Other companies can cut EV prices and lose money on every unit by offsetting this with profitable gas powered cars for the foreseeable future. Tesla can not do this.

antipositron 2025-10-03 10:23

But $30k if you buy and allow Tesla to run it as Robotaxi and you will be paid percentage of every fare. The car will pay for itself in 24 months and it's all profit from there on. Source: THIN 78N2:21O2:0.3C02

WenMunSun 2025-10-03 10:38

Tesla probabl will lower the price, but if they do - it has nothing to do with other companies discounting their own cars. Tesla ALWAYS starts initial sales of new/refreshed models at a higher price and eventually lowers the price as they ramp up production.

Tesla's going to release a low cost version of the Model Y for around $7k less than the current Model Y. So you can still get a Model Y for the same price you could in September. It's just stripped down a bit. But even a stripped down Model Y is a better car than most of the competition.

"make compelling offerings" ? Hey, I don't know but in the US, the most reliable network for fast chargers belongs to Tesla. Ford, GM cannot make an EV for a profit, not in sight to do it in the short term. Gas cars are not sold in the same volumen anymore because they are absurdly expensive. See the used car market and its prices. There's no retail self driving software that is as broad as the one Tesla has. Out of the US, Tesla faces a lot of competition but not from European companies... it's China. Tesla can and will do that because the US average consumer will sell their mom to get a car that it can afford and when it comes to that, no one bets EVs... and in terms of price/value and reliability, no one beats Tesla. Hoy many of these EV "compelling offerings" were sold YoY in the US vs Tesla EVs?

ArtOfWarfare 2025-10-03 12:38

Yes. I got one that’s 12 months old and 10K miles for $30K - long range, white/white. Seems like an insane steal to me. And I bought it direct from Tesla - could have probably gotten it cheaper if I’d bought it from a private seller instead.

lostinheadguy 2025-10-03 12:40

>It's just stripped down a bit. A bit?!? A 2026 Ioniq 5 SEL is a way better value than this at $40K, assuming the predictions of what is "stripped" from this version of the Model Y are true.

Nice-Sandwich-9338 2025-10-03 12:50

Buy used as Tesla dropped to its lowest as ev owners dumped them.  Cars.com has 23 model y fully loaded with less then 10k miles for $32500 and lower. Some even under with warranties remaining.  Mach e are same pricing.

$40k rumored price. I'll just pay the extra $5k and get all the current Juniper features. Now if they dropped the price to like $30k, people would go for the cheaper model

Suitable_Switch5242 2025-10-03 13:40

Ah, Tesla still making designs where 3 panels meet at a point and don't quite align right.

Suitable_Switch5242 2025-10-03 13:42

But it isn't reusing the parts exactly. The normal Model Y taillights wrap around on the bottom like the Model 3's and cut into the tailgate. This requires a new tailgate panel and new taillight modules.

Suitable_Switch5242 2025-10-03 13:43

Not really comparable with other manufactors, Tesla do some tricks with cost of sales, like not accounting for future warranty claims in the profit margin. And warranty claims are probably a shit load om every Tesla. Sell their cars without quality check, nice profit margin on papper, then fix all the issues when the customer complains and put it under ”goodwill”…

username17charmax 2025-10-03 14:09

Correct. Commercial credit IRC section 45W, consumer credit section 30D. By leasing cars and then buying them, this is how some normally ineligible consumer purchasers were able to capture the $7500 credit.

RickShepherd 2025-10-03 14:25

A $5K reduction doubles the total addressable market.

Quin1617 2025-10-03 14:25

Is it really? From what I’ve Autopilot isn’t very good compared to FSD and still has issues like phantom braking. Not to mention that it hasn’t been updated in forever.

Master-Pineapple-355 2025-10-03 14:28

Market Cap (Early October 2025) Tesla (TSLA) $1.45 trillion Toyota: ~$248–$259 billion General Motors (GM) $56.52 billion Ford (F) $48.63 billion Honda: $39 billion If they’re so profitable why is their market share worth less than their revenues?

krusticka 2025-10-03 14:30

Front is better! I think the back is still an issue though. Looks really boxy with the empty space - like a giant fridge on wheels.

FrostingSeveral5842 2025-10-03 14:36

Because they don’t just sell EVs. They make money selling gas cars and can float the loss. Tesla can’t.

gggplaya 2025-10-03 14:41

The other companies are taking a loss anyways, now they're just taking more of a loss. Tesla can't sell their cars at a loss.

Salty_Raspberry656 2025-10-03 14:42

which part, why wouldnt they release the YL in the usa. Same price, i get

FrostingSeveral5842 2025-10-03 14:45

So Tesla is a trillion dollar company with $97 billion in revenue. By contrast, Saudi Aramco a legitimate trillion dollar valuation has a revenue of $470 billion dollars per year. You’re literally proving my point. Comparing market cap is meaningless. If Tesla were valued like every other automaker they’d be at like $80 a share. Really says something, doesn’t it?

DinoTh3Dinosaur 2025-10-03 14:48

I like the juniper a lot more. But maybe the price tag will offset it

krusticka 2025-10-03 14:50

I know the pricing is not official yet but the price slightly under 40k make sense with their current pricing structure. The hype never made sense to me - they couldn't sell regular model y if the cheaper one was around 35k. I think "just under forty" will be the introductory price but I also think we will see price adjustments across the whole line-up.

gggplaya 2025-10-03 14:52

You clearly never made prototypes before, even pre-qualification validation builds are like this.

Creepy_Bee3404 2025-10-03 15:08

That that stupid Hyundai can’t even lock itself when you walk away…

rooneskap 2025-10-03 15:14

5k isn't much when you're considering dropping around 40k for a new car. Especially when you consider all the features and materials that might go missing compared to the full priced models. If we're talking losing the leather seats, ventilation, etc, smaller battery capacity, then 5k is pretty much nothing. By your logic, if this car were even actually just 1k cheaper trim (44k vs 45k), it's still totally an amazing deal that's going to shake up the EV market. 1k is a lot to call nothing, after all.

Available_Win5204 2025-10-03 15:35

That is correct. You can't imagine it. Because you do not work in the industry or understand how things work.

Available_Win5204 2025-10-03 15:36

That's a really interesting catch. Different hatch.

BillTechawk 2025-10-03 15:44

I do not think this term (affordable) means what you think it means

BaxBaxPop 2025-10-03 15:48

Tesla is the most reliable car and has the lowest cost of maintenance of any car company over both 5 and 10 years, according to Consumer Reports. The lowest of ANY car, not just EV's. Teslas are officially more reliable than Toyotas. But you can believe your narrative if you like, just don't make investing decisions based on your flimsy understanding of this subject.

BaxBaxPop 2025-10-03 15:50

So you're saying that Ford and GM leased their own inventory of cars and then bought them out to get the $7,500 credit. Seems like defrauding the federal government. I'll just sit here waiting for a source, because this seems highly unlikely.

Master-Pineapple-355 2025-10-03 16:01

How many times exactly has Tesla been saved by the government to avoid bankruptcy? Like Ford, Chevrolet and GM have? Oh right, none. Tesla sold vehicles when they were 70-80,000 just fine, that was Model Ys too, not X or S, them losing the tax credit does not mean they’re going to implode. They’re even offering $6500 off on leases as an incentive right now, even with that guess what? They’re still profitable. Their margin is 16%, they sold and delivered 499,000 cars this quarter alone. This economy Y is going to sell like crazy too when it drops, every auto manufactures software is garbage compared to Tesla this isn’t biased it’s true. Also Ford, Chevrolet and GM are so underwater on their shitty Mexico built EVs they bought their own inventory so they can offer the tax credit as a loop hole since they’re already losing billions. How exactly is their market cap inflated? Does any other manufacture do what they do? Innovate like they do? Offer a service like they do? You seem to be focused on revenue but it’s not the whole picture.

CumShoT_RaviOLi_King 2025-10-03 16:09

Why hide this? Like we all know it’s a model Y lol

eazolan 2025-10-03 16:09

No, my logic is "5k is a lot of money. Stating that it's "nothing" is dishonest. I illustrated that by asking for 5k.  Anyone who isn't a billionaire or a small child understood my point.

canikony 2025-10-03 16:09

SchalaZeal01 2025-10-03 16:13

L4gsp1k3 2025-10-03 16:22

I kinda like this design over the current new model Y.

Makin-Magic 2025-10-03 16:29

Ohh my comment wasn’t to argue about Teslas revenue vs others. I just was curious as to what other sources of revenue Tesla has outside of just selling cars. Like opening up the supercharging network was like opening up small gas stations everywhere. Some profitable some not. And then I know a lot of people pay for the premium connectivity or FSD monthly so that’s a MRC that they will continue to get as long as those people have Teslas. But I know there are a lot of variables and things change all the time. All I was doing was talking out loud since the revenue for that was more than I thought.

stinger_02in 2025-10-03 16:34

Don't be so pedantic, taking what people say word for word literally like a child would when making excuses .You know perfectly well the we're talking about 5k off a 45k purchase. No one's being dishonest. Calling something "nothing" is a common everyday manner of speech used to communicate a sentiment. We're not in a courtroom here. If you had any friends, you would know people actually talk like this and they don't mean it like something is literally nothing. Okay so 1k is a lot of money. If you don't agree then give me 1k. Therefore, 44k trim model y is such an amazing deal compared to original 45k and worth it all the hype.

MilkZealousideal7893 2025-10-03 18:10

MilkZealousideal7893 2025-10-03 18:12

BaxBaxPop 2025-10-03 18:16

People are underestimating the impact of OEMs basically losing all of their China sales. The rest of the world is rapidly switching to EV's. There's a very good chance that in 5 years 90% of all cars sold outside the US will be EV's. So Ford and GM will still have their bread and butter, but the rest of the world is no longer eating bread and butter.

spsheridan 2025-10-03 18:18

The bottom of the tailgate isn't even with the top left and right of the bumper. It looks odd and I think is different from the standard Juniper.

MilkZealousideal7893 2025-10-03 18:23

And Ford and GM will still be offering EV’s in their lineup which they can sell at a loss. They’ve been doing it for years. You think Ford and GM won’t sell only EV’s around the world? ICE isn’t going to die here in the U.S. anytime soon. Tesla sales in the U.S. and other places around the world aren’t looking too good.

Server_Reset 2025-10-03 19:04

As someone not super into Tesla, what makes this even close to competitive with like the newly announced pricing on the ioniq 5, the sel rwd is like 40k now, I'm genuinely curious!

MisterFrog 2025-10-03 19:23

What percentage of the profit margin was subsidy though? Did that 16% just become single digit? It's great that it's still profitable but to your point, it's now a significant loss for other auto makers.

BaxBaxPop 2025-10-03 19:39

Tesla sold effectively every car they made at a 15-20% auto gross margin before the EV credit existed, they passed the savings along to customers and continued to sell effectively every car they made with the EV credit while maintaining a 15-18% auto gross margin. Tesla will likely continue to sell every car they make with at least a 15% auto gross margin after the EV credit expires.

NooBias 2025-10-03 19:41

MisterFrog 2025-10-03 20:46

Sure, it won't reduce margins but the consumer price will go up. I'm confident Tesla can continue to reduce costs through innovation, but at $7500 per vehicle is a lot to make up for. Time will tell how it all works out. Before the tax credit, it was a luxury vehicle upwards of 6 figures in a lot of cases. That was a different market then. People lately have cared less about paying more for vehicles so if they want a Tesla, a Tesla they will get.

What is yet to be beat in teslas ecosystem (again genuinely asking)

ChickenFlavoredCake 2025-10-04 02:24

The tight integration with the supercharger network. You enter the destination and it'll plan the route for you. It'll tell you which superchargers to stop at, and how long to charge for. It'll show you how much charge you'll arrive with. It'll reroute you if a particular station is busy and it'll also tell you how many stalls it has available. Others have similar features, but Tesla is really accurate. It's a hassle free experience. No planning needed on your part. You can start a trip anytime regardless of your charge level, at least in North America. You also get cheaper rates than non-tesla vehicles. The app is another major plus point. It's got a lot of useful functions and it works well. You can start climate control remotely before getting in the car. You can also pop the trunk / frunk or unlock the car from anywhere in the world. You can also let somebody drive the car remotely without giving them a keycard. This is very useful in many scenarios, like letting somebody borrow the car for a trip or to move it for you without doing it yourself. You can set a charging schedule so you can plug in the car anytime, but it'll only charge when the rates are the lowest. You can limit the speed or turn on valet mode that takes it a step further. There's also PIN to drive which makes Teslas one of the least stolen vehicles. If two people drive the car, the profiles will switch automatically, adjusting the seats, mirrors etc automatically. You get walkaway lock which together with digital key works really well. You pull up to the parking spot, open the door and walk away. The car will put itself to park and lock itself once you're a certain distance away. No need to turn off the engine or anything else. There are other great benefits like premium connectivity, sentry mode, continuous dashcam recording that are not necessarily ecosystem features but they're great features I don't think exists in other vehicles to this extent. Teslas also have other thoughtful features like carwash mode, pet mode, blinkers turning off once you change lanes and the list goes on. These are things that are hard to value when you haven't used them, but after you have, they're hard to live without. There are lots of little things that make the user experience really good on a Tesla.

Server_Reset 2025-10-04 02:30

While I appreciate the long and thoughtful comment, I'm wondering if you've ever used an ioniq 5. I brought it up because it has most of those features, plus additional nice to haves, so I thought it was a good comparison. It has things like v2l, actual buttons and a driver front screen, a better digital key, faster charging and more, for cheaper, especially when compared to this super cut down model y.

tekdemon 2025-10-04 02:30

Yeah my guess is that they start discounting more in Q1 next year after seeing how things go with this initial pricing in Q4. Though I’m not sure they can cut as hard as other companies that have other vehicle lines that can subsidize some of the EV prices.

tekdemon 2025-10-04 02:32

If you don’t value FSD this is true but if you do then the Tesla would still win. It’s gotten very good lately, if sales are really bad Tesla could just throw in a year of FSD or something

tekdemon 2025-10-04 02:35

No, their financing companies which lease the cars out to begin with just pre bought the cars to get the $7500 and are now leasing them out. That’s also how the credit normally works for leases anyways, the financing company is the one buying the car and not you. You then borrow it from them and pay the lease. There’s nothing illegal about it since this is how all leases work already, though you could argue that it is questionable whether this was the intent of the law.

tekdemon 2025-10-04 02:40

The problem is that people looking to buy a NEW car are usually not looking to buy a basic vehicle that is just a good deal. Because financially speaking you’d be better off buying a used Tesla anyway. You can buy a nice used Y for like $25K so a super stripped Y for $40K is a tough sell.

Tratix 2025-10-04 02:42

You can get a used performance with low miles for like $10k. Couldn’t imagine who’s buying a new tesla with the tax credit going away.

ChickenFlavoredCake 2025-10-04 02:50

> While I appreciate the long and thoughtful comment, I'm wondering if you've ever used an ioniq 5. I brought it up because it has most of those features, plus additional nice to haves, so I thought it was a good comparison. It has I have test driven an ioniq 5 briefly. It doesn't have walkaway lock, or this level of integration with chargers in the route planner, at least in Canada. ABRP is still required for a pleasant experience. I don't think Ioniq 5 lets anyone else drive the car without a key/app? How about PIN to drive? > v2l I live in a major city and have not experienced any need for V2L in the past 10 years. I don't really go camping, but cant the 12v/150w adapter in the MY do much of the camping stuff? Is there a regular use case for V2L? > actual buttons The need for actual buttons is overrated. The only "buttons" I need to regularly press are to turn the temperature up or down. There are no other daily actions that require a button. Which buttons do you use on a daily basis? > driver front screen This is something that I thought I needed before getting my Model Y. I even planned on adding an aftermarket screen behind the steering wheel. But after driving it for a day, I didn't feel the need to do it anymore. The speed is at the top left corner of the screen, which is only like 3-4 inches to the right of where it would be if there was a screen behind the wheel. What information do you need on a screen behind the wheel other than the speed? > a better digital key Can you describe how it's better? > faster charging This is something I don't feel I need. On long trips, the car is usually done charging before I'm done using the restroom and have grabbed a coffee. It takes me about 20 minutes or so to go from 5% to 70%, which is what I generally do. I frequently visit Michigan from Toronto, and it takes just one such charging stop in the summer, or two shorter stops in the winter. How many minutes would the Ioniq 5 shave off my charging stops due to it's faster charging speed? Are the faster, non-Tesla chargers reliable in your experience, like have you ever shown up at a charger to find it out of order?

EmuNo6570 2025-10-04 03:05

I mean.. you can't really compare new vs used. The used cheaper Ys will be even cheaper

Server_Reset 2025-10-04 03:10

Maybe you don't need those things but many do You were driving a 2024 ioniq 5, the 2025 got a massive tech upgrade internally. No walk away lock (biggest gripe with the car) Built in route planning with Google maps as nav system, native nacs port with l1 and l3 cca adapters AND v2l adapter INCLUDED. V2L is killer for power outages to run like a fridge or something, it's also just something the Tesla doesn't have. And this new cheaper model y won't have the 120 socket so. Buttons, ccnc is not perfect but legitimately really good to use, and buttons are better for most people, and are objectively safer. This is a controversial stance probably here but look people sell buttons for teslas so it's clearly an issue. Buttons are better for many people and easier to use. Nice you don't need em, they are good for most people. Having the front screen is just objectively better, maybe you can train yourself to look at the side but like REALLY? For a car that expensive, no speedometer? The aftermarket for front screens on a Tesla also shows this is something needed. The front screen actually has useful info like navigation directions, speed, Regen and other stuff, it's good to have. Digital key 2 on ccnc/ is done through the phone os not the app. So it's more secure (using Bluetooth isn't good), you can share it cross platform to anyone's wallet app without needing the Tesla app/ bluelink. And, it can WORK WHEN YOUR PHONE BATTERY IS DEAD, which is an enormous plus. The faster charging isn't just for shorter times, it means you can do super short charging stops and stuff, it's better than model y so I think it's nice to point out. The ioniq 5 can use Tesla chargers btw. Plus it's built better, ALSO made in the us, has better doorhandles (and physical ones inside), more spacious etc. And another thing. It has wireless android auto and apple car play. Ccnc is good (probably the best is from a traditional auto company ie not Tesla rivian and Lucid) but having android auto and Apple car play is super good. I know Tesla folks insist you don't need it but 1) the choice is good to have and 2) [33% of people won't buy a car without it](https://gmauthority.com/blog/2024/06/about-one-third-of-car-buyers-insist-on-apple-carplay-or-android-auto-study/) Hyundais biggest weakness is still it's tech package, but the auto driving features are okay enough and ccnc is cool, but this is an area they need to improve. You get all of this and more for 5 THOUSAND dollars less than the new cheaper model y, which almost definitely won't have the all the features you listed. This is comparing the 25 sel to the model y long range rwd, not even the new base model.

Server_Reset 2025-10-04 03:12

This isn't to shit on Tesla, I'm just curious where the value proposition comes from with this new one considering you get more car for less with the i5.

AgonizingFury 2025-10-04 03:32

If you misalign panels as part of the design, then panels that are actually misaligned don't look as wrong?

AgonizingFury 2025-10-04 03:37

I'll buy the skepticism on the Roadster, but if the semi isn't coming, what are they building the semi factory in Nevada for?

AgonizingFury 2025-10-04 03:44

>I'd like to see it at night. Here you go. It's a little tough to see, and some of it might be covered by the camo vinyl wrap, but it looks like they removed the fabric camo cover from this one. https://youtube.com/shorts/m9AAy8JVQRg?si=HBsVq4UaLbmKCqxm

ILikeWhiteGirlz 2025-10-04 03:50

Haha no it will just look worse and you’d see more of the rocker trim or door sill plate.

No-Caterpillar-5235 2025-10-04 04:30

Are the rear escape latches still buried behind a panel or do I still have to fumble to find them while im burning to death?

EddiewithHeartofGold 2025-10-04 05:50

Yeah, I was :-). Sorry.

EddiewithHeartofGold 2025-10-04 06:00

Sales figures show that people do buy new, basic cars. At least outside the US. The main reason to do so is the warranty. Once you get used to not having to worry about repair costs, not buying new becomes a hard decision. Financially speaking, car ownership is already a bad decision. Used or new.

Apprehensive-Gap-331 2025-10-04 06:27

Unless... AI5 Chip (but probably not the first ones, maybe later next year).

vburenin 2025-10-04 11:33

I am happily add 8k to the price or $99 monthly subscription to have FSD to drive me around. To drive me everyday every time a human driver would be a lot more expensive. You seem like have no idea what FSD is.

LocutusTheBorg 2025-10-04 14:35

Does it still have FSD via HW4? I've seen no mention of that but it still has all the cameras. If they also dropped FSD / HW4 capabilities then they should try to hit $34,999 if they want to claim market-changer vehicle. It appears to use same MY side profile parts so there's lots of part reuse even if narrower/lighter. If it is the same width then it's not even a new car, reuse is maximized and dropping frill parts dropping only $5,000 will be a tough sell as the US economy keeps tanking.

BaxBaxPop 2025-10-04 14:39

Go take a test drive. It's super simple. Just walk in and ask to take a test drive. The sales people won't pester you at all. They're not typical sales people. They'll give you a car, take it back from you when you're done, and say have a nice day. Honestly, go take a test drive and hit the FSD button. Prepare to have your mind blown. I did it recently. Two hours with no interventions at all, in a downtown area. I hear stories all the time from people on V13 who haven't driven their car themselves and haven't had a single intervention in months. And that's with the current version fo FSD. V14 comes out this month and is supposed to be at least twice as good. With all that said, it's not fully solved. Lots of people have lots of interventions (definitely depends on geography and quirks of local roads). But take a test drive. I think your mind will be blown.

sunfishtommy 2025-10-04 14:57

I have only tried FSD 2 times during the free trials. Both times FSD was basically the same as autopilot on the interstate. The only difference is FSD would change lanes. Often times when you did not want it to, like changing lanes into a lane that had signs clearly indicating it would be ending in 1 mile. It would still Phantom brake at the same spot autopilot and cruise control does every time at a freeway exit where for some reason it thinks the speed limit drops from 65 to 45 for 10 feet even though it doesn’t. Honestly my whole time with FSD i felt like it was an accident waiting to happen. At least with Autopilot you know what its going to do, go strait and stay in your lane. With FSD it might decide that this exit ramp is the perfect lane to be in until its 200 feet away from the exit and tries to merge back, and don’t get me started about driving on normal roads.

Accomplished_Rent_10 2025-10-04 15:37

Save money to drive a normal ass looking Tesla instead of something that looks exotic 🤦‍♂️

eazolan 2025-10-04 16:03

\>  Calling something "nothing" is a common everyday manner of speech used to communicate a sentiment.  Yeah, the sentiment of something having absolutely no value. Unless there's a different definition of "Nothing" you're using?

T_O_D0r 2025-10-04 20:08

Hell yes

FloppyPeggy 2025-10-04 20:38

I personally think that the model Y was designed to capture the attention of the Chinese market. A lot of their EVs especially SUVs seem to have light bars on the back. I don't think it worked really well because their own EV market supplies them well enough. I'm not really well informed though so take that for what it's worth 😂

1nolefan 2025-10-04 21:15

I own one and it's a beautiful quiet ride, but I do want that Tesla FSD

JackfruitSad7868 2025-10-04 21:44

Honestly I think the headlights look better on that

JamesP84 2025-10-04 22:02

So much better without the lightbar

Iamthehottestman 2025-10-04 23:26

This is clean

Royal_Ad_2580 2025-10-05 07:14

Why people buy this? Cheap car. You Should buy before 9/30.

NefariousnessFair362 2025-10-05 09:56

I paid £60k for mine 71 plate it had 4,000 miles on it

Desperate_Donut3981 2025-10-05 10:20

Ugly just like all their cars

Mustang979719 2025-10-05 15:24

40k is what people are guessing. It confirmed yet. Hopefully 35k

NooBias 2025-10-05 16:25

If you check the TUV failure types they are cheap issues like light problems and brake rust due to lack of normal braking. Those are cheap issues that all EV's can have them but most of them are caught in the manufacturers mandatory inspections that Tesla don't have. Those inspections are quite expensive and they add a lot to the cost of ownership and is not accounted when agencies calculate COO. The failure rate is high from people that didn't go for inspections for 3 years and they already saved 1000+ euros do you think they care if TUF find some stuff that well under the amount that they already saved?

elchurnerista 2025-10-05 17:20

if you squint is mint

elchurnerista 2025-10-05 17:21

That's their strategy

Gallagger 2025-10-05 18:02

They have to go with the markets. The car market in general gives big discounts at the moment. Additionally, in 2018 the model 3 barely got any good competition, but now tons of competitors offer good EVs, often with faster charging and much improved tech. It's normal that in a market with fast technological development, products get cheaper over time (counteracted by inflation).

United-Fisherman-932 2025-10-05 18:56

when will it be announced? how much?

Confident-Sector2660 2025-10-06 03:45

sorry I saw the price drops. 2026 ioniq 5 SEL is indeed really cheap. This thing needs to be 30K

pkapeckopckldpepprz 2025-10-06 04:48

The Cybertruk is a sales failure? I see them all over the place on the road here in SW Florida. I believe the numbers of only 30,000 Cybertruks built to date over the past 2 years in the US seems absurdly low

Think_Interest9508 2025-10-06 05:35

Where can u get a low mile performance for 10k?!😭

Tratix 2025-10-06 05:36

Whoops, I meant $20k

Think_Interest9508 2025-10-06 05:38

Still crazy good deal especially for a performance I definitely needa find something like that

EntertainMyPain 2025-10-06 08:46

Looks very affordable

justcallmeryanok 2025-10-06 15:31

Nobody in their right mind would ''save'' 5k for this model instead of the Juniper

Prestigious_Pizza_76 2025-10-06 19:42

Tomorrow, they haven’t announced the price yet.

jrWhat 2025-10-06 20:15

Oh wow you really got him. No experience with validation builds, what a loser

Equivalent_Minimum74 2025-10-06 20:37

semi has finished its pilot testing and will begin mass production next year. try to keep up emu

Equivalent_Minimum74 2025-10-06 20:38

the refreshed y looks awesome. both the front and the rear. you just have bad taste.

Equivalent_Minimum74 2025-10-06 20:39

thats what cybercab is for

Equivalent_Minimum74 2025-10-06 20:39

wait till this guy learns about capitalism lol.

AgonizingFury 2025-10-06 23:41

>semi has finished its pilot testing and will begin mass production next year. try to keep up emu Maybe you should check the context of the thread you're responding to, instead of trying to find a single comment out of context that you can respond to with a stupid comment. I was responding to someone saying semi and roadster don't exist. Mine was a factious question to point out that it would be almost as stupid as your comment to build an entire factory for a semi that doesn't exist, therefore it clearly exists.

options13 2025-10-07 04:35

OTHER companies don't effing care to sell electric cars. They were happy sellijg ICE cars for decades. But tesla will bw sigbificantly affected and w9nt be a profitabke company anymore.. I dont understand why rhe fking stock keeps pumping. I love the car as a Tesla owner but I hate the stock.

Frequent-Cost2184 2025-10-07 06:20

Soo cheaper than model 3?

locksmack 2025-10-07 08:50

The interior might be my favourite thing about teslas.

Wooden_Muffin_3391 2025-10-07 12:29

I recently heard about this affordable version at AdvisorWheels. But, I have the question how affordable and what quality they offers.

Spare_Blacksmith_816 2025-10-07 13:28

Been more interested in a cheaper model 3.

ElectronicPainting95 2025-10-07 14:55

How did you get for 30k long range?....I don't see anything below 37k listed on tesla website. Is it California thing with credit? Also, 30k includes taxes and fees? I was about to buy model 3 long range 15k miles 33500 plus taxes and fees until I saw this ...please let me know I will do that too, I just need a low mileage reliable car for office commute preferred model 24 model because it has second row screen

goodhumanoid 2025-10-07 16:40

It is in regard of Ionic. I own a few Tesla vehicles: MX, CT and MYJ.

pencileveryone 2025-10-07 18:40

I see it on the tesla website now.

SmoothSailing23 2025-10-07 19:21

So it has a glass roof but they covered it on the inside?

SoggyGrayDuck 2025-10-07 19:44

So less than the tax credit that was just removed

Even-Inevitable-7243 2025-10-07 20:05

You can already buy a slightly used 2024 Model Y (15k-ish miles) for around 30k. This 5k price slash is all for nothing.

bobiversus 2025-10-07 20:43

I have a model y performance and it looks like the model y standard actually checks some interesting boxes. It comes with 18-in wheels whereas previously the smallest was 19 and my car comes with the 21-in Uberheavies. Those wheels have what look like fully enclosed covers which might be even more efficient. Looks are subjective but curious about the efficiency. It also has what looks like a fully metal roof which would be amazing in the sunshine States and stronger in bending and torsion than glass.

Subtomrshreegamesyt 2025-10-07 20:54

What a waste of time. Cheaper Model 3 seems decent though.

FinalPercentage9916 2025-10-07 22:33

No radio

PrestigiousDrag7674 2025-10-08 11:10

So a month ago I can get a higher end model y for same price as current lower end model.

ShelterIndependent44 2025-10-08 21:06

Apparently definition of “affordable” has been changing in these days

[deleted] 2025-10-08 22:42

I'll stick to buying toyotas.

digitalgamer0 2025-10-09 00:28

100%

Yayme74 2025-10-09 09:35

I think this is the “decoy effect” where they create an inferior product on purpose. When ppl get on the website, they can compare this base model and the actual Y. And with all the bells and whistles for an extra 5k is a no brainer. This line is probably targeting those still on the fence. Psychologically speaking (as least to me), spending 45k on a car is a tough decision. But spending 45k on a car with all the bells and whistles vs 40k for nothing. Kinda makes your brain wanting to click the buy button a little easier.

BorikenDetailMasters 2025-10-09 10:52

While $5,000 might not seem like a big sum, most car dealerships inflate vehicle prices by more than that through add-ons alone and they'll often push even more for warranty coverage on you right at the signing table.

Substantial-Act8752 2025-10-09 11:21

I just got a 2025 Juniper before the credit expired. The light bar is far better than the frog face of the pre-Juniper models, but the Standard has a very clean sharp look. Not regretting anything...this vehicle is amazing.

Substantial-Act8752 2025-10-09 11:25

Personally, I prefer the Juniper front to the pre-Juniper. The pouty frog face kept me from buying a later model at a discount honestly. I like what they did with the rear lights. It's win-win for me, but I understand some people like their steak with just salt and pepper and others want to put all sorts of unholy crap on it.

Substantial-Act8752 2025-10-09 11:30

From 2022 to 2025, there's approximately $5000 of inflation. It's a $34,999 car if you go back three years...eliminate all the tarriffs and you likely get it down another couple grand. You can't have your cake...but you can't eat it too.

Substantial-Act8752 2025-10-09 11:35

Tell me what new car you can get for 25K....oh wait I'll tell you: 2025 Nissan Versa - 20K Base S model with CVT 2025 Hyundai Venue - 22K Base model 2025 Chevy Trax - 22K Base model 2025 Kia Soul - 21K If all you are after is affordable transportation, you can get any of these options, but honestly these vehicles have literally nothing included. They are all bottom of the barrel base models with absolutely no frills. You can't have your cake and eat it too...

Substantial-Act8752 2025-10-09 11:38

yeah, we're doomed...

Substantial-Act8752 2025-10-09 11:39

mix of cloth and vegan leather...

bumskins 2026-02-19 07:56

4.5 maybe.

Apprehensive-Gap-331 2026-02-19 13:16

I heared 4.5 was a labeling mistake and does not exist?
