There was a time when I would've been really excited by this.

LeakyFish 2025-08-29 12:31

Yeah that was me too a few years back.

YouKidsGetOffMyYard 2025-08-29 13:58

Complete with 21" rims, stiff suspension, terrible ride and aggressive enough rear camber to wear out the tires in 5K miles? If so, no thanks.

Electrical_Quality_6 2025-08-29 14:00

chefs kiss, with a cherry on top and cream on the seats hehe id actually go white on blackseats

Snoo93079 2025-08-29 14:11

Not every product needs to be for everyone, and by definition the MYP is going to have a smaller customer base.

MisterBilau 2025-08-29 14:22

Nobody in europe wants teslas anymore lol

feurie 2025-08-29 14:30

Gotta any source of excessive camber or the suspension being overly stiff? People seem to love the Model 3 Performance

feurie 2025-08-29 14:30

Plenty of people still do.

DingDongHelloWhoIsIt 2025-08-29 14:33

I think this is a model S issue?

[deleted] 2025-08-29 14:44

They are back in the menu.

YouKidsGetOffMyYard 2025-08-29 14:47

I think It was definitely a issue on the Pre Juniper Y performance. So many posts here about people with them wondering what is happening to their rear tires. Worse yet you could not even really adjust the camber unless you replaced with aftermarket parts. Suspension being stiff is subjective. I mean, it HAS to be stiff in order to get the additional cornering performance. The camber is the same way, you gain performance at the cost of additional tire wear. I am just suggesting that the additional performance does not come without what I consider "penalties".

YouKidsGetOffMyYard 2025-08-29 14:48

No I get it, not for me I am sure a lot of people will love it though. I am just suggesting that the additional performance does not come without what I consider "penalties".

Electronic_Table_620 2025-08-29 15:01

I will buy the rims to replace my stock ones on my 25 MYP 🙂

plaetzchen 2025-08-29 15:33

No worries, we probably won’t buy them. Enough left for anyone interested.

InterstellarChange 2025-08-29 17:12

the fanciest aliexpress rear splitter ad yet

Can’t wait

Really, one wheel from Tesla will probably run you $800. Multiply that by 4.

Annual_Wear5195 2025-08-29 20:30

I can also cherrypick. All but June of the last few months have had non-Teslas in the first place: [https://eu-evs.com/bestSellers/ALL/Brands/Month/2025/7](https://eu-evs.com/bestSellers/ALL/Brands/Month/2025/7) [https://eu-evs.com/bestSellers/ALL/Brands/Month/2025/5](https://eu-evs.com/bestSellers/ALL/Brands/Month/2025/5) [https://eu-evs.com/bestSellers/ALL/Brands/Month/2025/4](https://eu-evs.com/bestSellers/ALL/Brands/Month/2025/4) [https://eu-evs.com/bestSellers/ALL/Brands/Month/2025/3](https://eu-evs.com/bestSellers/ALL/Brands/Month/2025/3) [https://eu-evs.com/bestSellers/ALL/Brands/Month/2025/2](https://eu-evs.com/bestSellers/ALL/Brands/Month/2025/2) [https://eu-evs.com/bestSellers/ALL/Brands/Month/2025/1](https://eu-evs.com/bestSellers/ALL/Brands/Month/2025/1) As well as year so far: [https://eu-evs.com/bestSellers/ALL/Brands/Year/2025](https://eu-evs.com/bestSellers/ALL/Brands/Year/2025) Or the gigantic drop since August last year: [https://eu-evs.com/bestSellers/ALL/Brands/Month/2024/8](https://eu-evs.com/bestSellers/ALL/Brands/Month/2024/8)

I don’t get why this is launching in Europe. It’s like Tesla not even American company anymore

[deleted] 2025-08-30 00:26

What happened to you?

Annual_Wear5195 2025-08-30 02:16

If me using August is invalid then your use is just as invalid. As you said, plenty of countries could very well report other manufacturer's sales.

8000 people a month across the entire continent is hardly "many", whichever fucking definition of the word you want to use.

habachilles 2025-08-30 04:12

The y 6 seater in china. Now the performance in Europe. It’s like if he can’t get tax dollars he doesn’t want to sell here as bad… I just bought the juniper and this pissed me off more than it should’ve.

HgnX 2025-08-30 05:35

Only 6 / 8 km less range then Long Range AWD? Must be a different battery finally !

pachewychomp 2025-08-30 05:38

Elon happened.

pachewychomp 2025-08-30 05:40

How the hell do seat extenders for thigh support show up on a Y before they show up on an S or X?

MisterBilau 2025-08-30 13:40

Right, not “nobody”. A few people, and way fewer each passing day.

Tellittomy6pac 2025-08-30 23:11

Can’t wait to drive one once they get to the states

Scoobydiesel87 2025-09-01 01:14

More popular/purchased model?

pachewychomp 2025-09-01 03:19

Most popular, sure. But the “luxe” vehicles should also get it.

seffyhirsch 2025-09-01 16:27

My new TESLA COMMERCIAL re-visions "Think Different"-got enough spark to jolt your engineering brain:) [https://x.com/seffyhirsch/status/1962551381052600691](https://x.com/seffyhirsch/status/1962551381052600691)

Scoobydiesel87 2025-09-02 01:15

Oh I don’t disagree at all. I just think Tesla doesn’t care about the luxe side right now. They’re pushing for more sales at the Y level.

musaprai 2025-09-02 05:37

Does Tesla Model Y Performance really use 4D2 (rear) and 3D3 (front) motors? This is what EVSpecifications published on their specification page for this model. As long as I see 2024 Model 3 Performance for Europe uses the same motors.

valejojohnson 2025-09-02 19:31

Oh.. great for them

rasin1601 2025-09-03 16:48

It’s insane, but it feels like management can only concentrate on one model at a time, like it’s six people running a business out of a garage. If we’re launching the Y, we can’t make the Semi. If we’re making the Cybertruck we can’t make the roadster. If we’re updating the Y, we can’t upgrade the S. If we’re rolling out cyber taxi, we can’t improve consumer FSD. At some point the management needs to transition out of startup mode.
