>And it's right up the road from me! ...and me, which makes it basically useless. Meanwhile, still no SC all the way from Ottawa to Huntsville on Highway 60. One in Barry's Bay next to the Timmies is a no-brainer.

Maybe he doesn’t have a garage with a home charger.
Correct, I don't. Currently I charge on the level 2 across the street from me. But if I'm in a hurry I have to drive to pickering
So last year there was a lot of noise that Elon would stop expanding Superchargers because he fired the head of Superchargers or something. But I keep seeing new locations being launched, some of them huge ones. So what happened?
It's almost as if you can't trust the media
Can’t imagine how annoying this is. Would’ve gotten a hybrid instead lol.
People saying its useless to have a supercharger near where you live. Theres one a block from my house and I have model s with free supercharging. I haven’t paid any electricity or supercharging for that car for 6 yrs now.
Based
That's a very good point (and which I hadn't thought of) but I suspect you are part of a very small minority that gets to benefit like that.
I think this degrades the battery life to regularly charge on SCs. Didn’t you witness any battery autonomy decrease in 6 years ??
It’s a V3. Congrats 350KW
When I drive Ottawa to Barrie I take the road through Bancroft and do a quick charge there, it's vaguely in the middle.
To be fair, I think a lot of the "coming soon" ones have not progressed and some have disappeared from the map. According to [https://evchargingstations.com/chargingnews/tesla-supercharging-network-q2-2025-report/](https://evchargingstations.com/chargingnews/tesla-supercharging-network-q2-2025-report/), installations have decreased since around Q1 2024 (it's not an exact science since numbers fluctuated during the year but historically, there were more towards the end of the year).
I do agree with you. I am shocked at how many tesla I see parked on the street in my city. I always keep in mind there are more people without garages than have garages.
I'd charge every time if I had that option. Well, probably. Power is pretty cheap but free charging is better yet.
And not a single pull through charger?
I think they have a couple
Super nice
Nice!
35 km both ways, plus takes you along the back route back with *so many* turns (I'm at St. Peter, I do this trip every so often). There are nine SCs between Toronto and the park, three of them are basically in Toronto and then six more on the route. So you can daytrip out of the smoke and have absolutely no issues charging back up no matter what happens. In contrast, there is exactly one SC on the route from Ottawa to the park, and it's in Ottawa (Nepean). There are none on the route. The only others within reach are Deep River, Bancroft or Huntsville, all of them adding the better part of an hour to the trip. Now sure, Toronto's 5x the size of Ottawa, but still, is ONE station on 60 too much to ask? They were planning on adding one in Renfrew, which would help, but the "coming soon" icon is now gone. Even that is a *big* leap into the park and back, it's 150km one way. Barry's Bay would be perfect. One could drive from Ottawa to BB, fill up to 50% while you get your Tims fix, day trip the park, and do another top up on the way home. Eganville or Killaloe would be OK location-wise, and a bit further from Bancroft which I think Tesla would prefer, but they have very limited services. BB is just... perfect.
How do you live in the burbs and not have a charger built in? This is like the middle or nowhere compared to downtown Toronto
I agree, and eventually there probably will be one along there. There is a new v4 station about to open in Kanata/Stittsville at the Tanger outlet mall any week now. Not that it's really any closer than the nepean one though.
I used to think so but I’ve been so impressed with the supercharger network and speed that it rarely seems like an issue anymore. Maybe an extra 10 mins here and there depending on how much driving one does. I don’t think it’s a dealbreaker anymore.
That’s what we used to think but studies indicate that is not the case.
great for me. I travel from Markham so it's useful if I head eastbound out of the city and get a charge to get home if needed
I wonder when Oshawa will get one. I feel like their devotion to GM means NO to Tesla superchargers. Even though GM isn’t making any EV charging stations there either lol
Nice! Looks like all chargers are V4, even better! It's going to be my default stop for weekly trips between Belleville and Toronto, especially during winter months!
Heck, or even if you live in a condo without charger in the parking garage. I did street level 2 charging and supercharging for two years before they put one in. Definitely a plus either way!
Hello fellow Ajax resident 😎. I wonder when these will open, as they look pretty complete. I figure they are waiting on Elexicon to give the final approval.
Yeah pretty much
Do you know if they are V3 or V4? I thought these would be V4 but someone else in the comments said they are V3.
I think they're v3
Oh interesting, they look like the V4 cabinets with the longer cables. Does that mean it's V3 hardware inside the V4 cabinets?
This looks like a V4 Supercharger just like from the video in California. https://youtube.com/shorts/3YNx17Bx_EU?si=d_lpFn6ES-MJfZbx
Is this charging station any closer to completion? Anyone from that area? Hopefully they will be complete before the serious winter begins...
I'm checking on it nearly daily. No dice yet, waiting on inspections and hookup
