Kurdistan is a vastly autonomous region in Iraq. The difference to central governed Iraq is night and day (as you can see here)

Last December we found what we believe to be the only Tesla (and one of the few EVs) in Saint Lucia that operates as a taxi. The driver (and presumably owner?) was awesome and a huge Tesla fan. They have the perfect climate for solar + battery + EVs, but they’re still finding their way. IIRC he said there was only 1 L2 charger on the island but he was making it work as it’s just not that big of a place, there are no highways, and temps are warm. (Of course no Autopilot or FSD for him as he’s always driving on the “wrong” side of the road!)

All Dubai taxis use it. They also have tons of Teslas.

I mean people all over Iraq are buying EVs and mostly hybrids because Teslas are useless or in fact expensive to maintain especially in a place like Kurdistan where people don't even have fuel for their regular cars
