wrongshirt 2025-01-09 10:32

Hmm. Not sure what I think about it.

YellowUnited8741 2025-01-09 10:41

Me either.

woalk 2025-01-09 10:41

Reminds me of a cross between an IONIQ 5 and an ID.4.

slow_328i 2025-01-09 10:50

I love it, the new styling that Tesla is going for is killer. I think this is even a step forward from the current model 3. Looks like the robotaxi just tallee

sowaffled 2025-01-09 10:52

I’m having the same tepid feelings that I had for the new Model 3, which has since grown on me. Franz and team don’t miss. I expect this to grow on me too.

Imakeshittycardesign 2025-01-09 10:55

Front looks like any generic Chinese EV. Not sure why they didn’t just go with the Highland front lights.

theycallmebekky 2025-01-09 10:57

Can't view the website without disabling an adblock. Oh well.

LilGossipGirlxo 2025-01-09 11:03

Way better. The Y is starting to look dated by its headlights

RoshanGill441 2025-01-09 11:04

So that the Model Y can finally have its own distinct identity, rather than a bloated model 3.

PsychologicalBike 2025-01-09 11:04

I like the rear, but the front seems like a generic Chinese EV like the Atto 3, I wish they copied the Highland 3. Will be interesting to see how it goes in the wild. There was plenty of criticism of the Highland looking too generic when it launched, and 12 months later when you look side by side, the old model 3 looks so outdated already.

slow_328i 2025-01-09 11:06

Good point

jrherita 2025-01-09 11:06

Same. I think it's hard to tell how the rear looks because of snow and other stuff all over it. Front.. will need to see in person.

Transit-Tangent 2025-01-09 11:08

It looks like shit.

MJC136 2025-01-09 11:14

Love this new look

snoozieboi 2025-01-09 11:16

Exactly my feeling with the Highland 3 on first sight too, though I didn't mind the froggy previous look. I find it weird that they always seem to merge the looks like the S and X getting nose cone and then diverting again with 3, then highland 3 and now Y diverting slightly. Mercedes really went the other way, whilst Hyundai just rolled a dice :D. Their facelifts are often entire re-designs rather than I like the vents on the lower sides, highland 3 removed these and it really looked empty. They're back on the performance 3 front, I believe. Other than that, it's really just a car. :D

Academic_Release5134 2025-01-09 11:17

Korean car makers used to copy everyone, now they are being copied. Hyundai/Kia are killing it with cool designs.

Daze-B 2025-01-09 11:18

A “distinct identity” that looks strikingly similar to the Xpeng G6, Li L6,7,8,9, or Sony/Honda Afeela. But I am still looking forward to seeing the new Y officially released.

almighty_moth 2025-01-09 11:23

Looks like XPeng

TeamBlackHammer 2025-01-09 11:23

Just going off your username. Did you design this? 😂

zomirp96 2025-01-09 11:26

Hyundai Kona Coupe version

Fancy-Ambassador6160 2025-01-09 11:38

Few months ago I was considering one one these when they finally launched. Then president musk started talking about taking over my country. The Kia ev is looking pretty tempting now.

-I_I 2025-01-09 11:41

Readerview dude

hamiltok7 2025-01-09 11:48

Trash. Tesla design is getting so tired

AstronomerKooky5980 2025-01-09 11:50

The proportions feel off. The windshield seems too tall me when compared to the front end.

Mundane-Tennis2885 2025-01-09 11:51

I feel like 99% of western people (myself included) have no idea what those cars are so it looking like something else that doesnt really exist in NA isn't really a factor. Will be interesting to see how it's received here and overseas anyways

[deleted] 2025-01-09 11:51

theycallmebekky 2025-01-09 11:52

I'm on my phone using the reddit built-in browser. The website wasn't a fan.

prelsi 2025-01-09 11:53

What's wrong with a bloated model 3 I thought the whole point was to share parts between both to make it cheaper. It's like they are abandoning what they preach

TDQV 2025-01-09 12:03

I think the fog/parking light integration into the vertical bumper vents is what throwing it off. The front bar strip lights will grow on me but the above integration reminds me of Porsche Taycans harlequin vents. Rear for me is fresh but a little Lexus RX-esque (not a bad thing).

RoshanGill441 2025-01-09 12:12

The model y shared parts with the model 3 to prevent another production hell that Tesla had with the model 3 back in 2018. (Model Y was unveiled in 2019, model 3 production hell was 2017-2018) Now that Tesla is in the position to have good production ramping, they can finally experiment with a distinct identity for the model y. Also, the looks of the model 3 is clearly designed for the size of the model 3, the model y looks as if Franz took the model 3 and MS Paint stretched it. In other words it's fugly as hell.

-PerryThePlatypussy- 2025-01-09 12:13

I didn't think it could have looked so boring but I was wrong. I don't understand the move to horizontal front lights with new vehicles. It seems expensive to replace and looks ugly imo

RoshanGill441 2025-01-09 12:13

The current/outgoing Model Y is the most horrible looking Tesla in the lineup. And I will die on that hill.

B1Turb0 2025-01-09 12:13

Awesome. I love it. Mini CT vibes.

Maultaschenman 2025-01-09 12:13

That actually makes sense, although I'm not particularly a fan either. Might look good in person though

B1Turb0 2025-01-09 12:14

I thought robotaxi and CT right away too. Keeping the futuristic language. Really digging it.

-PerryThePlatypussy- 2025-01-09 12:15

SkyCaptainStarr 2025-01-09 12:18

The old Model 3 and current Model Y have an essence of Porsche’s design language, which I’ve always loved. This new design does away with that in favor of…a light bar? Not a fan.

revaric 2025-01-09 12:21

It’s still going to share parts, the few tidbits like lights aren’t of much consequence compared to motors, packs, wiring harnesses, etc

_casshern_ 2025-01-09 12:39

When I first saw the OG model 3 during the reveal my first thought was that it looked like a beluga! lol But it’s grown on me since.

TheMartian2k14 2025-01-09 12:41

I kind of like that chunky look to it. My vote’s for the CT as ugliest.

mikathepika1 2025-01-09 12:59

They shared almost all common parts, hence why styling was so similar. Roshan rightly said that they can now experiment with a distinct styling. Which they’re doing. Even if some of the unseen parts are still shared, as you say.

Kidd_Funkadelic 2025-01-09 13:00

But it lost it's inherent "Tesla" look shared by the entire S3XY line. Not sure I like that move.

mikathepika1 2025-01-09 13:00

Some angles it can look ok. But any Y with Geminis is by default horrendous. Should be illegal 😆

mikathepika1 2025-01-09 13:00

I think it looks great. What you guys on about?

kevin379721 2025-01-09 13:02

No one cares

tashtibet 2025-01-09 13:05

ha! ha! Chinese EVs rooted from Tesla vehicles.

Goolinette 2025-01-09 13:11

that'd be great, if it would actually look good

Goolinette 2025-01-09 13:12

and the new one will definitively keep it that way, and secure it's place there even more

[deleted] 2025-01-09 13:17

At least they’re abandoning the cybertruck design language.

[deleted] 2025-01-09 13:19

Is Tesla copying Chinese EVs now? https://preview.redd.it/4h451ge5yybe1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cc054a90d43adee3bf52cc0dd482e643e4f4350b

No_Credibility 2025-01-09 13:19

That looks like shit, once all these other EVs start coming with nacs teslas sales are going to tank

picturemeroll 2025-01-09 13:28

Couldn't agree more. The current Y is maybe ahead of the cyber truck in terms of looks but welllllll below the 3, s and x. This version looks like an improvement for sure.

Klownicle 2025-01-09 13:33

Yeah, it's funny to watch the haters come out.  I mean this is exactly what everyone was saying it was going to be.  Front and rear light bar.  As long as the vehicle doesn't look like the Pontiac Aztec I think it's sleek and will sell BONKERS if prices are right.  I buy Tesla for the technology not it's looks.  All those saying "glad I bought at 0%" are missing out on all the new tech the vehicles have. This will get 0% eventually as well. The Y had the oldest tech of all the vehicles beyond the minor upgrades over time like super bottle.  I await being able to order and hope Tesla can squeeze it in during the tax credit.

RocketRabbit315 2025-01-09 13:35

probably one of the prototypes they are testing happen to have such resemblance doesnt mean it is guaranteed to be like this they test multiple prototypes just like phones company do these days, the one tested they are satisfied with the most will be the actual unit and mass produce based on that one those uncovered ones are likely they not gonna use unless they wanna hype it up to have it kinda leak

Schnitzelking93 2025-01-09 13:38

Boooooring

beerbaron105 2025-01-09 13:43

Love it. Has strong cybertruck vibes

Another2Coast 2025-01-09 13:48

Bruh have you seen the X

[deleted] 2025-01-09 13:50

So just like the current Y

ersatzcrab 2025-01-09 13:51

It just looks so generic to me, but I've also not been a fan of the recent and confusing trend (which basically everybody seems to be following) that separates the accent lighting from the headlights, and puts the headlights in the middle of the bumper. It looks unbalanced.

And_Im_Chien_Po 2025-01-09 13:52

it's a "cYbEr" look

[deleted] 2025-01-09 13:52

I like it because the Y finally gets distinctive styling from the 3.

lanthrax 2025-01-09 13:52

This looks like it had the cyber truck cuts

vince006 2025-01-09 13:55

Front light bar? Is that supposed to be a charge indicator too?

stylz168 2025-01-09 13:56

I recently had this same discussion with a buddy of mine who just leased a Lucid Air. He spent 10 minutes going on and on about Tesla build quality and looks and how cheap it felt and my response was basically the same as yours. It's about the tech first.

deadliestp2j 2025-01-09 14:11

Well quiet a disappointing reveal.

sxm5808 2025-01-09 14:12

The model 3 redesign looks a lot better , why they have to change from that. What do I know, I am not a hot shot car designer

[deleted] 2025-01-09 14:15

[removed]

SlackBytes 2025-01-09 14:15

The renders of model y with a highland facelift look better than the pics in the article.

ZeroWashu 2025-01-09 14:16

it will sell like hotcakes. I will wait to see it in different colors before passing judgement

puffyjacket85 2025-01-09 14:17

better than uberturbines that are backwards on the passenger side.

flompwillow 2025-01-09 14:20

The highland I liked from the get go, don’t care for this.

katherinesilens 2025-01-09 14:22

Looks kind of like the refreshed Prius. https://preview.redd.it/n6jx0ide9zbe1.jpeg?width=2139&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c73b165558981318264b82d2c3a5a4a62efda1bc

gadgetluva 2025-01-09 14:25

Exactly. The sheet metal and the design itself don’t really matter as much from a cost perspective. Under the shell, the two will still be extremely similar.

Snowmobile2004 2025-01-09 14:25

Reader mode works well on iPhone

gadgetluva 2025-01-09 14:26

The X is a frumpy, disproportionate mess. The Y is a blob, but it’s about as unassuming of a design as possible imo.

staycalmandcode 2025-01-09 14:36

No one buys Tesla for the design. This will sell like hot cake.

dicentrax 2025-01-09 14:36

Buy the kia

AutoAbsolute 2025-01-09 14:36

Looks like the performance too…

[deleted] 2025-01-09 14:37

[deleted]

AutoAbsolute 2025-01-09 14:37

Yeah, I catch mine on the drive from certain angles and it is similar to past Porsche design. I miss this era now with Tesla but will be getting a Taycan next so I’m ready to move on

epradox 2025-01-09 14:38

not sure what youre talking about. 23-1/2 model Ys came with hw4 so all of them in 24 with 0% came with hw4 which is the latest and greatest technology with fsd v13. If this model y somehow comes out with hw5, ill eat my words but im assuming itll just have hw4 from the previous models.

a6c6 2025-01-09 14:42

The light bars on all these cars are starting to get a little played out. I generally like the ones on the rear but the fronts ones are kind of tacky

erclark99 2025-01-09 14:45

Lowkey looks like they’re going for another “cyber” car. I am not a fan of them heading in that direction for all their cars. Please leave the “S3XY” line as regular cars, and have fun making the ugly dystopian 80s cyber line up its own thing, don’t bring it to your normal cars.

sonaut 2025-01-09 14:45

Prius Prime

jflbball 2025-01-09 14:46

This is dope. Putting this next to a current model y will make the current Y look like a complete POS, which is what Tesla wanted to do so that people would be forced to upgrade.

RocketRabbit315 2025-01-09 14:48

maybe, maybe not probably not the actual unit that just wanted to attract attention away from the actual unit, which are still undercovered

j12 2025-01-09 15:01

Kona vibes

Dr_Pepper1984 2025-01-09 15:07

I actually like it don’t like the current Y design. This is better and also like that paint job. Looks futuristic.

RocketRabbit315 2025-01-09 15:11

i want to say many different designs not prototype this is just one of the designs test unit

godnorazi 2025-01-09 15:12

Yep, that's a Cyber-Y

Cautious_Pitch_4729 2025-01-09 15:13

Looks sick. Finally a design I like. The Model 3 highland looks terrible from the rear imo.

iKnowRobbie 2025-01-09 15:18

Oh good! A cybertruck-car! -No-One Ever

Zealousideal_Aside96 2025-01-09 15:18

The cybertruck exists

LBTerra 2025-01-09 15:21

Rear looks Ok. Front I am not a fan of at all

LBTerra 2025-01-09 15:22

The Y is the most horrible looking when the CT is right there?

Ascension_Crossbows 2025-01-09 15:29

Yep looks like a taller new model 3.

MGoAzul 2025-01-09 15:30

Seems mid. They did what every other OEM did with the light bar. Personally I think those will go out of style in the next refresh for other OEMs, the same way chrome bumpers have. With Tesla’s refresh cycle this will be there for the next 6 years so it already looks dated. Personally this looks like a knockoff ford escape from the front.

Radium 2025-01-09 15:30

The smaller thin headlights are cheaper to replace because less material. Current y headlights are already LED matrix, just a ton more plastic. They're also less likely to be hit by a rock because less surface area.

SheSends 2025-01-09 15:30

Looks like a Bolt/Kona mash front with a lightbar. I'll keep my R2 reservation...

Xeadas 2025-01-09 15:33

Ew it’s ugly

jaydee917 2025-01-09 15:37

Opposite. I thought the highland looked like cost cutting move getting rid of the fog lights. This is actually adding components and I like the look of the light bars and they also kept the fog lights this time.

jpmillet 2025-01-09 15:42

Great! Now I can officially confirm to myself that I’m not interested and that I just need to wait 1 to 5 years for a refreshed Model X

CurvedLightsaber 2025-01-09 15:51

Since reddit is calling this ugly it's now guaranteed to be massively successful.

cas4d 2025-01-09 15:56

I talked to a Tesla sales before, they did mention highland’s light is a bit too thin to be atheistically pleasing on Y. Maybe that is one reason, another is Tesla is moving toward cybertruck design.

[deleted] 2025-01-09 15:57

original Acura NSX rear end

Sure-Ad417 2025-01-09 16:08

This looks more like a Kia in the front. Not a fan at all.

[deleted] 2025-01-09 16:09

Depends on how good the interior quality is beyond I think of trading my current 2022.

jaqueh 2025-01-09 16:18

The 3 has a light bar in the rear?!?!

SufficientBee 2025-01-09 16:20

The front is really unappealing to me, the back looks ok.

-PerryThePlatypussy- 2025-01-09 16:23

I phrased it wrong. The refreshed Model Y has taillights like the current model 3, along with a new horizontal light bar on the back of the Y.

UFOlaserbeam 2025-01-09 16:37

I think I’ll keep my ‘24 and design elements closer to a Porsche than a Kia.

AggravatedMango 2025-01-09 16:37

Came here to say this. It's weird seeing Hyundai\\Kia being copied now days.

John_mcgee2 2025-01-09 16:46

But they want to build your dreams… get it

rustybeancake 2025-01-09 16:53

The new Prius is much better looking than this IMO.

[deleted] 2025-01-09 16:53

TBH this car will make or break my next car purchase for tesla. I'm between this or an R2. I've got time to wait though :)

rustybeancake 2025-01-09 16:54

🥵

Zealousideal_Cut_800 2025-01-09 16:56

Why?

JizzyMcKnobGobbler 2025-01-09 16:56

That's a major stretch, dude. Well, I suppose "essence" could mean anything, but the 3 and Y are certainly not attractive vehicles. They look like basic/generic NPC cars for use as background cars in video games.

foampro 2025-01-09 16:58

Light bars are going to be one of those things we look back and age a car. It’s a fad

JizzyMcKnobGobbler 2025-01-09 16:59

IONIQ 5 has waaaaay more character than this. And it's all squared and 80s retro styled like a Dodge Omni or something. In no way does this look like an IONIQ 5 lol.

woalk 2025-01-09 17:01

I don’t think the plastic is the big cost factor though, is it? It’s the LEDs, the matrix projector, their cooling, etc.

Shaper_pmp 2025-01-09 17:13

Gah, that's fugly. It looks like a Model Y trying to be a Cybertruck, and failing at both.

Galdrath 2025-01-09 17:15

yik. well that solidifies it. wife hates the look so I guess we will 100% look for something else to trade our current Model Y in for.

goobervision 2025-01-09 17:17

I always said, Aston Martin as a few of the engineers came from there for S.

TimTom8321 2025-01-09 17:18

Sure, but it can still make the model.Y more distinct. They preached about making the model Y as close as possible to the model 3, to save on production when they lost money/barely made money on vehicles they sold, and they didn't want another hellish production with the Y. Now that they have far more experience, they make tons of money by selling vehicles and they actually stand, they can separate them and make each one more distinct and maybe even still make some parts the same for both to cut costs. I don't know why so many people thought Juniper was going to look like Highland, I think it was obvious the moment we all understood that Highland is coming and Juniper is nowhere near close to finishing, thus the two will look different from now on.

Radium 2025-01-09 17:22

Yeah, but they're the same tech so they'll be cheaper because they're smaller and less material to build. Tesla doesn't rip us off I've noticed at the parts department. They have the best parts prices of any car I've ever owned.

yukinr 2025-01-09 17:23

Yep, what I thought also. Looks like a cheaper class car now 😢

Nortdort 2025-01-09 17:23

Maybe it’s the camera angle but why does this look more bulbous than the current gen?

woalk 2025-01-09 17:24

Replacing a lightbar will be more labour though.

evilspark21 2025-01-09 17:38

2014 Jeep Cherokee in the front, Dodge Charger in the back. Not a fan of the new lights. The headlight and taillights look good on the Cybertruck due to the angular shape of the car, it just looks weird on the Y.

EnoughLavishness 2025-01-09 17:40

Guarantee you can’t afford one

Brutaka1 2025-01-09 17:41

Alrighty, see ya.

Brutaka1 2025-01-09 17:41

Then buy a Porsche?

[deleted] 2025-01-09 17:42

It ugly

Brutaka1 2025-01-09 17:42

It does.

[deleted] 2025-01-09 17:42

They want the CT light bar to become more popular.

No_Credibility 2025-01-09 17:43

I already have a model 3, lol affordability isn't an issue. Nice try though

mfbrucee 2025-01-09 17:43

Looks like shit

Wunderkindergartener 2025-01-09 17:48

This looks bad. It’s like they’re trying to get the Cybertruck design in their other models.

Morawka 2025-01-09 17:49

This thing is ugly af.

[deleted] 2025-01-09 17:49

Just because someone criticizes something doesn’t make them a hater

gadgetluva 2025-01-09 17:53

I don’t think Tesla is particularly good at design, and all of their models, aside from the CyberTruck, are extremely boring and largely forgettable. (I’m NOT saying the CT has a good design or is attractive, but it sure is recognizable). The Camry has far bolder design, and that’s from an automaker that’s about as traditional as you can get.

RoshanGill441 2025-01-09 18:08

CT is the 2nd worst looking Tesla.

HoPMiX 2025-01-09 18:14

I liked the back. Hate the little squinty front headlight design.

RaiKoi 2025-01-09 18:18

*neither

danperson1 2025-01-09 18:18

When you are going for max aero there are only so many complimentary design options

Practice-Sweaty 2025-01-09 18:21

Looks like the love child of a Cybertruck and Model 3 whereas before it looked like a Model 3 with a foodbaby.

wulfstein 2025-01-09 18:33

Nah. To each their own but I think the Model 3 and Y look great. So do a lot of other people. Considering there are some people that think the new BMWs look good, I think we can all agree looks are very very subjective.

[deleted] 2025-01-09 18:39

I'm just gonna wait for R2S, or even Scout.

Swimming-Equal-9114 2025-01-09 18:41

Ah yes, lets "design" a new model and copy the style from 3 years ago.. really innovative and with great success!

indimedia 2025-01-09 18:42

Don’t lie, this is one of the ugliest cars ever made

indimedia 2025-01-09 18:43

Don’t fool yourself, that is an absolutely ugly car

agracadabara 2025-01-09 18:51

Its still has some camo bits around the headlights and tail lights. It looks like the headlights and tail lights will be like the highland model 3 but with light bars. Not the thing lines like these images show.

Past_Sir9069 2025-01-09 18:52

I like the headlights and front of the Highland better.

Past_Sir9069 2025-01-09 18:52

That is literally what I said on the other post on this sub!

LBTerra 2025-01-09 18:56

Hard disagree. It’s the worst IMO but different strokes for different folks.

shaheedmalik 2025-01-09 19:11

Eww. Highland Model 3 > Old Model 3. Current Model Y > Juniper Model Y.

shaheedmalik 2025-01-09 19:12

It looks better as a bloated Model 3.

beltnbraces 2025-01-09 19:13

Whenever I see this car I think how stupid Toyota is for not making this their EV.

beltnbraces 2025-01-09 19:14

Rear spoiler. Edit: not the performance, integrated spoiler

OkEye414 2025-01-09 19:28

Omg kona + cybertruck + lucid mixed up? Definitely no on new y design

ru_benz 2025-01-09 19:42

I think the design works on smaller cars like the Prius, but on the redesigned Model Y there’s just too much blank space in the rear. I’m biased though because I drive a 2024 Prius Prime, and my wife drives a 2022 Model Y, so maybe I’m just defending my purchases.

mikathepika1 2025-01-09 20:12

Ha, never seen that. But must be hard to spot, no?

Bob_The_Bandit 2025-01-09 20:31

Yea especially because the model 3 and the taycan are priced so close together! /s

Every_Tap8117 2025-01-09 20:53

They also area alot worse than the 3 and soon Y outgoing models in terms of lighting the road.

PktRocket 2025-01-09 20:56

I agree. I’m not anti light bar (my EV has one that isn’t active while driving, rear bar is) but they’re becoming over used. Feels like every other Hyundai I see at night is a Cyber Truck at first glance.

Starry001 2025-01-09 21:12

G6 looks nicer

transwarpconduit1 2025-01-09 21:30

Agree 100%

AutoAbsolute 2025-01-09 21:36

And wheels

AutoAbsolute 2025-01-09 21:36

Don’t wanna be ya - ha

sajunt_04 2025-01-09 22:24

I would love that Tesla extends this design decisions to Highland

TheJordLord 2025-01-09 22:55

Glad I didn’t wait and took advantage of the promotions. That’s so ugly lmao.

[deleted] 2025-01-09 23:26

I like it

imk-us 2025-01-09 23:49

They hit the nail with new Model 3 but new Model Y looks horrible in my opinion.

flompwillow 2025-01-09 23:56

Beauty is totally subjective, it’s funny how two people can look at the same thing and see different results. Glad you like it, I’m sure it’ll be a great upgrade.

onecoldturkey 2025-01-09 23:58

Yeah but I think it’s more like cyber truck vibes.

DuneProphecy 2025-01-10 00:22

As does model 3 highland - this actually looks more interesting than highland.

FlugMe 2025-01-10 00:29

That's not the Model Y bro, that's a BYD.

MavinMarv 2025-01-10 00:45

I’m waiting for used R1S prices to go down then I’m pulling the trigger on one with low miles. Miss my 4Runner and the only EV comparable to it is the R1S. Not sure about Scouts yet. Way too big.

MavinMarv 2025-01-10 00:47

It’s the same height.

WalrusOk2896 2025-01-10 00:48

Thank goodness the model 3 didn’t opt for the light bars and it’s good to hear they don’t need to look alike anymore. Keep the design language on the highland, it’s beautiful.

revaric 2025-01-10 01:00

Talking about the designer that put Mazda on the map. Obviously design is a matter of taste but one could argue objectively on the quality aspects of design choices.

unfurledwarrior5150 2025-01-10 01:21

I’m a fan. I didn’t like the the beluga whale rounded shape of the current body style this update gives it a better profile imo

jstasir 2025-01-10 01:53

Go to the Tesla china website and you’ll be able to see it clearly

[deleted] 2025-01-10 02:35

MavinMarv 2025-01-10 02:36

I mean all the covered juniper leak pics shows the juniper as the same height just an update front and rear.

L3git9 2025-01-10 07:39

Guess I’m one of the fewer agents that think it looks really nice and much better than current model Y, but to each their own I guess.

almighty_moth 2025-01-10 10:36

Totally

dtpearson 2025-01-10 19:38

Stop bringing reason and understanding to the internet, that's not how it works here. YOU ARE WRONG!!!!

ofUJx0Ox8N5A 2025-01-10 22:22

looks pretty ugly and not distinctive

Tavokcha 2025-01-11 04:05

Looks like a Chevy EV

GrandReaperXerxes 2025-01-11 17:54

Doesn’t look like a Tesla anymore. Just a regular car

No-Effect5633 2025-01-12 03:07

True , model y looks like a model 3 with a fat butt , so says my wife . Love the new y design.

DIYglenn 2025-01-12 06:41

They’ve ruined it! Looks like a cheap Xpeng G6, which basically is a Model Y knock-off. Ugh. I like the old more Porsche inspired front. Same with M3, it lost its soul.

MooselookManiac 2025-01-12 20:16

I'm, for one, am 100% pro light bar. Bring me them bars of light! The more, the better! I want multiple light bars on all sides of the car!

ChainApprehensive 2025-01-13 02:24

durbyy 2025-01-13 21:49

The front looks like a Kona now 👀
