The gov wants EVs and he does too. I don't think he cares that much about Musk.

1Marmalade 2025-01-07 13:41

Every time I go back in amazed how few Teslas/EVs I see in the UK. They make so much sense for most people with a house. I’m glad to see they are catching on there.

New-Connection-9088 2025-01-07 16:56

He seems to care very much what Musk thinks. He’s has several official statements over the last few days addressing Musk.

sashioni 2025-01-07 20:55

Only because Musk has regularly attacked the government and even asked whether the US should “intervene”.

mikathepika1 2025-01-07 21:35

A good car is a good car. Product speaks for itself.

neale87 2025-01-07 21:35

PML. They're everywhere in the UK.

Fancy_Load5502 2025-01-07 21:41

The Model 3/Y is one of the best cars ever made, IMO. The combination of performance, tech, and value is unmatched.

Do you think the PM will comment on me repeatedly if I say mean things about the PM?

Drownduck1 2025-01-07 22:42

Brace yourself self, anti tesla wave incoming

Tellittomy6pac 2025-01-07 22:44

So the PM really does care what Musk thinks, doesn't it? And the PM doesn't care much about what I think?

sashioni 2025-01-08 01:13

Are you serious? Musk has 200M followers on Twitter and the ear of the next president of the USA. That is nothing to do with the importance of your voice to the PM, simply that this level of influence cannot be ignored

lee1026 2025-01-08 01:15

If you can’t ignore someone, then you care about what that someone thinks. I am a nobody, and therefore I can be ignored, and the PM doesn’t care what I think.

Progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy? Hardly. In 2023 Tesla sold 654,888 cars in the US In 2023 Tesla sold 47,840 cars in the UK. I.e., 13x more cars in a country with a population about 4.9x the population. Every time I go home I’m surprised how few I see. Not that there aren’t any. But that my parents still point them out. Like a rare bird. As I say, I’m happy EVs in general are becoming more common I the UK.

Korneyal1 2025-01-08 04:33

The UK bought 1.9M cars total in 2023 while the US bought 15.6M. So they bought 7.3% as many Teslas and 12.7% as many cars. They’re buying Teslas at 61% the relative rate as the US.

1Marmalade 2025-01-08 04:36

Again: Every time I go back in amazed how few Teslas/EVs I see in the UK. They make so much sense for most people with a house. I’m glad to see they are catching on there.

Activehannes 2025-01-08 08:10

Are you the first lady of the USA and ran a pool that was answered by 2 million people?

twinbee 2025-01-08 08:48

It's great we have Elon to put Starmer down a peg or two, who wants to sweep so much stuff under the carpet in the name of "anti racism". Talk about false virtue.

Then there must have been an absolutely enormous increase in sales in the past two years. Good to see EVs on the rise.

Deeujian 2025-02-12 18:43

Nah, sorry, the UK don't want Tesla. Time has changed.
