The ruby charger second most valuable next to diamond charger.
Neat! Thanks for sharing.
Where is dis
Wow so empty
I had no idea these exists
Roseville California I think
Only one. This is the 50,000th super charger.
Confirmed this is Roseville ca near topgolf. No 50,000
Gotta charge'em all!
I wonder where the 100,000 charger will be?
Mars.
The space roadster will have it all to itself.
Imagine this stall being free for your first couple visits
Generally it’s one of the last ones to be occupied when this location gets full. The novelty around here has definitely worn off but I think locals still keep it open for those who want a photo op with their car plugged in.
Honestly hope its more in a road trip travel spot.
I swear 50% of the cars in roseville are Model 3 or Model Ys
Nice founder series charger
That’s a great charger station..I was in and out with 250 kw
I was born there. Would be nice to visit since I haven’t been there in like 60 years, lol!
Is there 100K?
Why, because you see alot of them at the super chargers?
Is there a plaque?
That is a nice shot
Liminal
Cool!
Did not know this was a thing... Cool!
Looks like the evil robot in that old Disney space movie The Black Hole: https://disney.fandom.com/wiki/Maximilian
You were born at a supercharger stall?
Ha, Ha, just in a hospital in Roseville. My dad was a petroleum geologist working for Dow Chemical at the time, busy figuring out where to drill the next well. I often wonder what he’d think about electric cars.
It looks like, if you hook your leg into the opening, sitting saddle-wise inside a Tesla Supercharger could be somewhat comfortable.
Look at the base of it.
From Tesla: Go Anywhere With 50,000+ Superchargers, Tesla owns and operates the largest global, fast charging network in the world. Located on major routes near convenient amenities, Superchargers keep you charged when you’re away from home. Simply plug in, charge and go.
I laughed and burped at this comment at the same time.
End of 2023 they were at 51k, globally...So it's still going to be a few years until they hit 100k.
Especially with the firings
Well, they did rehire some of them. In the end they are shifting focus to expanding existing sites with more chargers. Most routes already have an adequate density of sites so there isn't that much call anymore for opening new ones (of course they will still open *some* new sites). But when you're mainly expanding existing sites you don't need that large of a team.
Good point. I don’t see much real estate for existing sites though, at least not in my area where most of the sites are in shopping plazas.
Is there a difference in cost to use this charger?
I can't confirm it from here. I don't see it on Google maps.
