On one of our Teslas, yeah. Just because I use it for Uber/Lyft sometimes and my wife uses it for work (home health). Our personal one, no.

Yeah. The main front camera field of view is far too narrow to be relied on. I had someone run a stop and cut me off, but you couldn't see that they had a stop sign from the Tesla footage. The regular dashcam showed it clearly.

It depends on the Year and Model... the newer ones have a lot better cameras than the older ones! I have a 2024 and do not use any additional

We just ordered our first Tesla but we plan on using one in addition to the built in one. Mostly because we already have it in a car and it wasn't cheap so it makes no sense to let it go to waste not getting used.
