I would not touch a 2024 car with 55k miles on it.

If your cool with rwd finance a brand new base model 2026 model y for 0% for like $13k more than that one, the warranties alone are worth the price difference

I bought a model y 2022 with 46k on it and it’s Awd lr. I paid $27k

Why not? I get it’s high mileage but his story of being cross country driver checks out.

13k is a big difference tho. And depreciation of EVs is tuff. What does the 50k warranty cover? I thought the main one was the 120k warranty

I guess the thing u need to concern the most with used Tesla or other EV is the battery health and warranty. Otherwise, it is going to be 8k-20k to replace the battery.

55,000 miles on a 2024 model screams ride share driver to me.

50k mile 4 year warranty is bumper to bumper covers everything, and then the 8 year 120k covers the battery

There's better deals if you look at Tesla's used inventory directly.

Base models don’t have 120k warranty, only 100k. Bad TPMS, non-folding mirrors, bad frunk, cheaper cabin materials, ugly wheels, basic headlights, lower range, slow at 6.8 0-60. I don’t care about headliner, seat buttons, light bars, console, smaller main screen, better door glass, ventilated seats an rear screen, but there are other big things removed that cost more than $5k. 20k of battery/DU warranty alone is pushing $2k

He’s a cross country driver. Most of those miles are on highways/interstate if that makes a difference.

Dang that’s a steal. But why wouldn’t you touch a 2024 55k miles car tho? I plan to get it inspected but just wanted food for thought

Gonna buy it but taking it for a prepurchase inspection. Just not sure if I should go to Tesla service center with some bad reviews or if I should go 3rd party with excellent reviews.
