Posts like this are very ambiguous . There’s way way to may factors for any stranger online to give you any realistic advice. It depends on the dealer reputability, condition , history , battery health , cosmetics , carfax etc . Assuming the car is mint than that sounds about what they go for.

This is from Tesla Pre-own inventory

Well based on those details that seems like a decent purchase. I own a 2023 HW3 with almost 50,000 miles (I missed the HW4 transition by a couple months) and a 2026. I use FSD on both but the HW4 experience is just so much better that I wouldn’t consider buying a HW3 car. So that seems like a decent deal for a low mileage 2023.
That said, the quality, comfort, and smoothness of my 2026 is far better than the 2023. Either one is still a fun car to drive though.

See. A little info makes a huge difference . Tesla is good and has a warranty . May have minor cosmetic issues but at least u know the car will be covered and inspected . Seems about going rate . Not a steal but worth the peace of mind

That seems a little bit like a steal to me. I bought basically the same car a few months ago but paid $2,500 more. I would be diligent at looking for reasons why it might be discounted.

I just paid $37.5k for a '23 Y LR AWD with HW4 with 19k on it. So I'd say you've found a good price there if all things are equal. I did Tesla pre-owned to get the extra warranty, so that's priced in there as well.
I see you posted that yours was also from Tesla, which makes me a bit suspicious about the low price.

Bought a MYP 23 HW3 for less than ur price for 20k miles. I don’t plan to pay for FSD.
I’d go new MY if you want all the HW4 and new trinkets to work well. Saving some cash isn’t going to give u the experience u prob want.

That's a steal. I wouldn't be surprised if someone from here grabs it if you don't.

Is there any way in particular that I can validate any issues on it? i checked the autohistory attached and it had nothing suspicious on it.

How can you tell from the tesla site if a 2023 Model Y has HW4? I don't see that detail in the listings anywhere.

You'll never see it in a listing. You'll need to ask a salesperson to pull up the Software screen and it will say "Full Self Driving Computer 4".

I ran a carfax on mine and it was clean. I did read the other day of someone that ran a carfax and found there has been "minor damage".

You can get a clue from when the warranty runs out to know if it was likely a later model in 2023. Then you message tesla to confirm.

how do we figure out hw3 vs hw4?

Thanks, I was hoping to be able to determine from the listing without having to ask anyone about individual cars so I can quickly eliminate cars with HW3.

Thank you this makes sense. Found a car with warranty ending in December 2027, so that car SHOULD have HW4 since it was built closer to December 2023.

You want to see a shot of the Software screen anyway. Then you can see if it comes with paid-for FSD.

I will definitely confirm with salesperson before purchasing. Also seems like 2023 MYP's with HW3 are around $30k with HW4's are around $35k.

Just snagged a ‘23 AWD HW4 with 29k miles for $31k and I felt like I was getting a deal. What you’re describing is very good.

Exactly but MYPs are getting snatched up. 35k for HW4 makes no sense when new 26 is 40k w 0 APR. So I think they’re sitting longer than the HW3’s.

As an owner of a Model Y with 33k miles and HW4, I'd say that you should get it. I paid $49k for mine and I'm obsessed.

Yes, I found that to be a good guide and then I had them confirm it in an email just so I had that evidence!

Also, before you finalize the order take screenshots of the listing with all the details. As soon as you place the order that will vanish and you will lose evidence of included FSD, etc.

A 2026 MY Performance is not $40k. That is the base model RWD.

Dude go for it! I paid $32,200 OTD for a used 2023 MYLR AWD on HW4 with 30K miles on it so you got a better deal! What’s the configuration though?
