They should unlock using the white button on the handle. Also worth checking Plugshare app - it will show logs of people who used them before and often has good information.
Thank you yes PlugShare has a location just for the chargers behind these, I tried using the buttons but didn’t work
Saw
The red tape around the cables could indicate that they aren’t online yet?
He seed em
Been seen’t

Not that you are saying they are free, but just fyi gen 3 wall connectors are capable of billing. I used some at a hotel that had a really busy SC station - I wasn’t in a hurry so I used it, and it was only $0.01 kWh less than the SC.
I wish my local Costco would install EVSEs but the county that Costco is in is anti ev and strikes down nearly every permit for ev infrastructure anything . But if they are the universal wall connectors you just pull out for thr NACS and if you want j1772 there should be a button to release the cable with thr adapter.
Costco made an announcement recently that they were rolling out EV chargers to something like 100 locations. Google it I don’t remember the deets.
These make so much sense. Chargepoint chargers are 6kw and $7,000. These are $400 and 11kw plus Tesla handles the billing if you install more than 4
Anytime I see a post with “seen these”, I just assume the person is illiterate and from the south like me
They have twelve of these at my work. The cables are all over the place and damaged. Nobody is fixing them either. Looks terrible.
Man that sucks some people are just trash , here at the super chargers sometimes you just see the cables on the floor
Seen em real good I did!

Those look like the universal ones. Should just be able to pull it out and the adapter will stay in the base.
*Saw. You saw them.

Bless their heart
This is super common in Ohio.
There is an indicator light that should be green on the white part of the charger. If it's not green, it doesn't work
I’m relieved by the amount of people correcting them.
And… here in TX and… murica.
He done seent them.
Damn pronouns
Nice cable management…I’m sure they’ll last a while.
I say, “I seent these”… I heard someone say that before and now it’s stuck with me.
I love it when they say something vague like “at CostCo” which could be any of thousands of locations worldwide.
EXACTLY!!
They're all ignorant. Lol. But, just because everybody says it doesn't make it right. 🤷
The thing is for the 48 amp charger you're not going to be able to slurip up too much power or use up too much money while you're shopping
> It’s in a public parking figure
Add up to 40 miles in an hour... Not a supercharger, but nothing to sneeze at. Although they could have it dialed down to less than 48 amps.
IS this because they have the dual CCS-NACS options? Otherwise, it looks like my Tesla home charger, just lift the end of the plug a bit and the plug unhooks.
*saw these #GrammarPolice
I’m amazed at the number of pedants on Reddit.
thank you for your service
I seen a few when I was at the libary looking at pitcher books
Looks like Woodland Hills CA
 😅😆

I also thought of Woodland Hills Costco.
Why did i think that charger was a battle axe?
It’s definitely the south because the cords are just left dangling on the ground 🙄

*Southerner detected*
I live in the south and I hear that all the time lol. It’s normal for me to heat it, but thank god I never say it.
Based on the “I try using one” I’d give them the benefit of the doubt and just say ESL
Plug her in a see what she do.
love the “libary”
Could also be “I have seen these…”
It’s good to heat it from someone else
In the south the heat gets us all eventually. 🤣
But is it a dry heat?
Appalachian.
Sawdis
Lmaoooooo I saw this and immediately thought “oh they’re from the south”, I am in indeed also from the south haha
you had me in the first half, won’t lie 😂🤣
Telsa makes a housing that allows you to roll the cable up neatly. Lazy shits leave it on the ground ready to be fun over.
Oh honey..
