2026 Model Y - What's Changed?

firefish45 | 2026-02-28 00:11 | 9 views

**Back in September 2025, I bought my first Tesla. The 2026 Model Y.** **And I freakin' love it.** Now, friends of mine are asking about it and I've heard that they've made 'changes' to the configuration of how it's sold. For instance, does it still come with Autopilot for free? **I want to know what I'm recommending before recommending it.**

In September 2025 it did. I don't get it. How much are they charging for Autopilot?

They discontinued AutoSteer. TACC is still free. Also, they no longer used the name AutoPilot for legal reasons. Like on the website for used Teslas, it's TACC+AutoSteer. Also, FSD is no longer available for purchase. Subscriptions only.

Priceless. You can’t ever get it again. They removed it unless u buy an older Tesla that already has it. They’re pushing people to subscribe to $99 / month FSD. I think initially it started because they lost a lawsuit in California regarding the ‘Autopilot’ naming but instead of renaming it they just removed it all together.

REMOVED IT? WHY? JUST TO PUSH FSD? Those sadists.
