Gently Used 2025 Model Y vs New 2026 Model Y

SojuBomb32 | 2026-02-24 18:14 | 15 views

Would you rather purchase a gently used 2025 Model Y LR AWD with less than 20k miles or a brand new 2026 Premium AWD Model Y? Wondering if it’s worth buying new or slightly used

Depends if the ‘25 is a juniper refresh, if it’s not no. Just bc the juniper quality is >>>

Depends on the price. The new juniper ones don't have autopilot, not to be confused with FSD. If that's something you can't live without, then 2025 is fine. They're doing a promo on financing though on a new one. So compare and contrast in that regard.

For juniper model Y in SoCal, used prices are so close to new that used just makes no sense. Also current new interest rates and the updated dark headliner and 16in screen, it was a no brainer to go new for me. I purchased FSD outright, so the only consideration to go used would be if you want autosteer included since it is not on new models.

Juniper 1000%, no question. If they are both Juniper then used is just fine if you ask me

comma ai has a Tesla harness and software support if you don't mind a little tinkering. Replaces the old AutoPilot/EAP feature nicely.

depends on price and financing. new is probably the same overall cost if you get 0% or 0.99% financing

How’s a barely 1 year old car with 20k “gently used”?

Gently and slightly are car salesmen buzzwords to make it seem like mother Teresa drive the car to church only on Sunday A used car is a used car
