10,000 miles and I’m just learning that the protective film over the B-pillars aren’t suppose to be there?

Never had protective B-pillar covers on any of the 3 Teslas I've owned/bought new.

Mine was left on. I noticed it when I picked it up. The corner was pealed away slightly on the driver side.

Meanwhile, on the back of my 20 year old iMac, film still on Apple logo. You do want to get that off though, before UV light causes it to embrittle and fuse with the underlying plastic.

Did you take the cover of the screen in the car too? I’ve seen teslas with silver trim that still have that on them.

Interesting. Wild they don’t make that more known. Any tips for getting the other side off? This one was easy because it cracked. Other side is firmly still there.

my first tesla in 2020 did not have it -- my second 2022 had it.. my 2026 CT has it. i have not removed the film yet on the CT. all bought new.
