How many miles are you losing by doing normal things while the car is on? And how did you limit that if you did?

So I charged my 22 MXP to 80% (234 miles) when I left the house had about 2 cities to go to for travel Soccer. When I got home I was at 20% (57 miles). When I checked my trip from charge it said I only drove 117 miles. So that means I hypothetically burned 60 miles off the battery just from running the heat and kids watching YouTube in the rear with no sound. I think that is a lot of miles wasted just on running the car. Granted I am in Ohio and weather is tricky. But I’m wanting to take it on a road trip for spring break to Myrtle Beach and NC but with that many miles lost on 1 trip I don’t know if that is the smart decision. Are you losing 60 miles and if not how did you limit or throttle it down? Instant Low power mode?

The rated miles are not accurate. On the freeway you will use more energy

The stated range is based off of the EPA numbers is typically wildly inaccurate. Switch it to % and enjoy the vehicle.

No need to ask . Your dashboard energy app tells you exactly how much energy is consumed by what .miles are irrelevant .batteries suck under freezing and blasting heat is a hog.charge to 100 when u have lots of driving to do

Yah know, I don’t pay one bit of attention to it, not one. Freezing cold or blasting hot I run the heat or AC, let the kids play games, what ever, so long as the car has enough charge to get home it ends with whatever it ends with. I plug it in and as if by magic it’s ready to go again in just a few hours.

This right here. I don't care, I'm going to do the things I want to do. If you get in a range pickle there are things you can do to extend your range - turn off climate control, GO SLOWER, draft a box truck, that sort of thing but if I have to charge a little more when I get home? Who cares.

You should know that colder weather (40s and below) results in a reduction in range. That happens mainly because of how lower temperatures affect battery chemistry; but also because colder air is more dense, thereby increasing air resistance.
