Ordered MYP on Nov 21st (first day it got released in Mexico). They just released my VIN today and confirmed it does not come with Autosteer

Is there anything I can do to force them to patch Autosteer into the car? When I placed the order for the car (Nov 21st), Autopilot’s definition INCLUDED Autosteer for free. I was already expecting them to pull this crap, but now I want to see if there is something that can be done (from Mexico). It’s not my fault that they took three months to build the car, they should honor the exact configuration on the time of purchase.

Listed in my purchase agreement is “Autopilot”, which MIGHT or MIGHT not include Autosteer, after they updated the manual recently

I would talk to someone else at Tesla. If it says autopilot in your purchase agreement I don’t see how they could not include it. TACC is not the same as autopilot and I believe the new agreements either don’t mention anything or specifically mention TACC, but not autopilot. Keep in mind that 90+% of the stuff Tesla reps tell you is either flat out wrong or misleading. They mostly have no clue.

Already spoke to the manager in my showroom. He says he will escalate but almost 100% sure they wont do anything. I wanna get a hold of them myself, like US customer service.

I've seen lots of people saying they ordered before the change, picked up after, and had full Autopilot. It's possible the rep OP is talking to is confused. OP's car could have full Autopilot and the rep is just dumb haha. Or, maybe it doesn't but if their order agreement includes it, then OP has a legal leg to stand on to fight for it.
