Used Model Y worth buying over a new?

I'm in the market for a tesla, this will be mostly for personal use to commute to work but time to time will use it for the family (wife + daughter). I'm looking at the LR AWD models, white/black color and year 2024+. I do see some in the $32k - $38k range, whereas a new model Y comes in at about $43k. The big thing for me is I would really like to have the autopilot/autosteer. My commute to work is 5 days a week and 1 hour each way, straight highway to work, and having the autosteer I think would make my life a lot easier. I have heard the new model Y does not have that feature and so it forces you to buy FSD which I am not interested in. The new model Y does offer 0% financing which is very enticing... Another thing I am considering is the 7 seater model Y from 2023, example here: https://www.tesla.com/my/order/7SAYGAEE1PF775351?titleStatus=used&redirect=no#overview Eventually when I have another kid or two I'd like to be able to handle a bigger family without having to get another car. My question is in my scenario would you buy a new Model Y, used 2024 Model Y, or used 2023 Model Y 7 seater. If I do buy any of these options I will buy all cash, will not finance unless its 0%. Additionally has anyone purchased a used Tesla, any regrets? Thanks.

New. The old suspensions are so so horrible.

I was in the same dilemma and went with a used one. If you can find one with low miles and FSD and/or autopilot (which is what I did), I would highly recommend it. I got a 2021 model Y. Yes it doesn’t have all the latest tech and features but works great and no complains. I will mostly upgrade to a 7 seater in a couple years but for now this works great. Just heads up that the 7 seater in the Model Y is pretty inconvenient even for kids. Might work for a few years when kids are young. Good luck

I would get the new one and then get the 0 percent apr deal, then you can take the money and invest it and that will net you a decent profit which will offset the cost of the new vehicle a decent amount.

Test drive both so you get an idea on how quite the newer one is. If you prefer a better suspension and quieter ride opt for new. Otherwise old should do. I own a 23 Y with 7 seats. I would pick the new one

New new ones do not have autopilot so you should save the money and get used if that is what you are interested in.

I’d go with autopilot, that and fsd are the only reasons I even bought this car. It’s a sedan-suv crossover; if you’re planning on having more than 1 kid then maybe consider another car
