Did this actually sound funny in your head?

LurkyRabbit 2026-02-18 16:06

It still works at 0 for a bit.

jasonni1234 2026-02-18 16:09

Range anxiety fears you

rwhe83 2026-02-18 16:14

When you’re done, try inflating your tires too- they are wildly different PSI’s.

docfreezed 2026-02-18 16:20

That's my wife during a road trip. I ended up changing our navigation to ensure that we have 15% battery power SC stop, instead of 5%. I want to try to keep the battery health at least in good shape for 3 years! 😅

Imreallythatguy 2026-02-18 16:24

Wildly different seems like a bit of a stretch…

liveslowdieyoung 2026-02-18 16:24

I drove on 0% for about 3-4 miles before I plugged in, everything was fine lol.

usualteenager 2026-02-18 16:29

I hope you have a charger at work

The highest difference of 41 to 38 PSI comes to 7.9%. If that is wild, what does 10% look like to you

BootFlop 2026-02-18 16:46

Wow, that was some serious hypermiling & good luck (BMS being overly pessimistic).

boost18 2026-02-18 16:48

Good to know. How do you know? 🤣

boost18 2026-02-18 16:49

I feel you! Didn’t have time this morning and need to meet a deadline.

boost18 2026-02-18 16:51

Living on the edge!

boost18 2026-02-18 16:52

Everything sounds funny in there 🤣

Rita Rudner [said](https://www.cracked.com/article_36809_15-rita-rudner-jokes-for-the-hall-of-fame.html) her husband “has two beliefs in life: He believes in God, and he believes that when the gas gauge is on empty he still has a quarter of a tank. He thinks the E stands for ‘Eh, there’s still some left.’”

Heart attack territory there

DeathBlade94 2026-02-18 17:22

You pay for the whole battery so you are just using what you pay for. Perfect arrival if you ask me. 😂

AliCoder061 2026-02-18 17:49

Not all heroes were capes

Malacasts 2026-02-18 18:02

Yeah at 0% you have a reserve of 15-25 miles depending on the trim. Performance is the lowest

M4DHouse 2026-02-18 18:13

Ehh, the margin at 0% is huge, once it starts power limiting you is when you should definitely get to an SC asap

Bresson91 2026-02-18 18:24

I can hear Kramer claiming he's gone farther to the left of the slash on the gas gauge! Classic.

ConnectionNearby6732 2026-02-18 18:24

That’s insane

boost18 2026-02-18 18:31

Love this 🤣

boost18 2026-02-18 18:31

Good to know!

boost18 2026-02-18 18:31

Didn’t know! Thanks for the info!

boost18 2026-02-18 18:32

Definitely wild!

boost18 2026-02-18 18:32

Thanks! That’s what my heads says 🤣

boost18 2026-02-18 18:33

boost18 2026-02-18 18:35

You must have some big ⚽️🏀

Argyrus777 2026-02-18 18:41

Not 1%….. one mile!!!

997streetcup 2026-02-18 19:11

Ive been to 0 at least 5 times never died on me

PermanentUsername101 2026-02-18 19:19

These are not facts. I would not count on it. Official Tesla stance: Tesla’s owner’s manual explicitly states: “Do not assume that there is any range available when the range displayed on the touchscreen is at 0 miles (0 km) (or 0%).” It also warns that damage to the low voltage battery from running out of range is not covered by warranty. https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/model3/en_us/GUID-CB07D968-612A-4FAB-977D-CD01C69464D0.html

boost18 2026-02-18 19:49

GOAT

THATS_LEGIT_BRO 2026-02-18 20:14

The more you clench your butt cheeks, the more miles you get.

ad19 2026-02-18 22:38

"Wildly different" might be stretching it a bit there

Tradetheday2093 2026-02-18 23:15

How has the LFP held up has there been any range loss significantly?

Empty_Buffalo_2820 2026-02-19 02:22

I've gone 21 miles past zero bro you're good.

Duh_Vaping 2026-02-19 02:23

Our cars are good for 10-15 miles before they give up. (Typically 3-4 kWh of reserve power under 0%)

boost18 2026-02-19 02:29

😱

coaster_geek 2026-02-19 04:07

That's good to know. It scared the shit out of me when I was leaving a ski trip with my battery at like 15% with a 25 mi drive to a supercharger in winter weather 15 degrees F. It dropped to 0 about 10 mi from the supercharger, but still driving. Luckily I made it. It took hours to charge it. If you go to WV plan ahead where to charge, learn from my mistakes, haha.

word-dragon 2026-02-20 00:26

Relax. You got 1 mile left and your speed is 1mph, so you have another hour of driving left.

word-dragon 2026-02-20 00:33

They all look a bit low, but you’d see that much pressure difference parked with the sun on the drivers side.

Gundament 2026-02-20 03:39

Thanks to the speed you're going, you have a whole hour left!
